8. go over (review)複習

用法：go over後接表示論文、工作、作業等的名詞或者名詞詞組，相當於review。

                                                                                              

例句1：Do go over the homework before you hand it in.

把作業交上去之前，務必仔細檢查一下。

 

結構分析：是祈使句的強調形式，通常在句首加上重讀的助動詞do，使口氣強硬一些。Do go over是謂語，the homework是賓語，before引導狀語從句，you是主語，hand是謂語，it是賓語，in是賓語補語。

 

例句2：Instead, you just need to review your marks and you can save a lot of time. (2014年6月四級)

相反，你只需要複習你做標記的地方，就可以節省很多時間。

 

結構分析：Instead是狀語, you是主語，just need是謂語，to review your marks是不定式詞組作賓語，and是連詞，you是主語，can save是謂語，a lot of time是賓語。
