Dear International students,
According to GUET calendar, winter holiday will be from January 22nd to March 2nd. Please pay attention to the security issues during the holiday.
·Campus safety
Please take care of valuables, such as laptop, camera and so on. Make sure lock the windows, drawers and doors before you leave. Check the water, electricity before leaving the house or dorm.
·Travel safety
Check the weather and make the schedule before travelling. For the students who will stay in China during winter holiday, please inform your Faculty/College to register your travel information, or you can ask classmate to help register. Attention to the traffic condition, obey the traffic rules and do not take the cars without licenses. Be away from the crowd, in case of the accidents. Do not drive cars after drinking alcohol.

·Fire safety
Do not smoke at will in and out of dorm and do not throw your cigarette away. If you want to discharge fireworks,please obey the relative laws. Turn off the power supply in case of the fire.
If you find any suspicious person and abnormalities, please call the police.

1) Don't play on the reservoirs, puddles, rivers and other dangerous places
2) Don't drink tap water directly because no one will monitor the water quality of Huajiang campus during the vacation. Please buy Barreled water or mineral water to drink at dormitory.
If you want to leave Guilin, you must register!
If the students staying at University in the holidays wanna leave the Guilin city, you must go to the Duty Office (31 Building Room 101) or Building 32 office to register the leaving time and coming time. When you travel out of Guilin, you must find student assistant to register where and when you will go.

全體留學生：
根據校歷安排，寒假從01月22日開始至03月02日結束，國際交流與合作處外教、留學生管理科在此提醒大家假期注意以下安全事項。
一、校園安全
1 要保管好現金和貴重物品，手機、手提電腦、數位相機等應隨身攜帶或託人保管，離開時要關好門窗、鎖好抽屜及房門，以防失竊。
2 離開宿舍、住處前要檢查用水、用電、用火安全，檢查是否關好水龍頭、切斷電源，防止火災、觸電及其它安全事故的發生。
二、出行安全
1 寒假期間,天氣寒冷,請注意及時增減衣物；對寒假期間逗留中國境內的同學，中國春節前後,交通運輸將非常繁忙,情況複雜，請提前安排出行計劃，路上自覺服從交警、管理人員的指揮，遵守交通規則，嚴禁飲酒駕駛電動自行車和非法駕駛摩託車，為保障同學寒假在中國境內的安全，請務必將寒假在中國境內旅行信息報告所在學院留學生辦公室。
2 橫穿馬路時，注意來往車輛，請走人行橫道；在等候和乘坐公交車時請不要擁擠，以防發生意外；不乘坐無牌、無證及超載車輛，以防發生交通事故或發生敲詐、勒索等案件。
3 儘量遠離擁擠人群，自覺遵守景點、公共場所安全管理規定，服從安全指揮人員管理，防止踩踏和其他意外事故發生。
4 同學、朋友聚會飲酒須適度，嚴禁酒後駕車。
5 我校2018年寒假（1月22日—3月1日）13路公交車運行時刻通知如下：
金雞嶺校區--花江校區：
上午：8:00， 11:30，14:30，17:00
花江校區---金雞嶺校區：
8:30，12:00，15:00，17:30
從花江校區發車。
從3月2日開始公交車恢復正常發車時間。
三、防火安全
1 冬季是火災多發期，在郊區遊玩時，不要隨意吸菸和亂扔菸頭，燃放煙花爆竹應遵守當地的法律法規。
2 在宿舍嚴禁吸菸，禁止使用大功率用電器，離開宿舍做好斷電，嚴防火災。
在校園內發現有可疑人員或異常情況，請立即報警！
校保衛處值班電話：0773 2290110（24小時值班）
在校外發生爭吵、受到傷害，立刻打電話：110（警察），120（醫療急救），119（火災）
四、用水安全
1、不得到水庫、水坑、河等危險的地方玩耍、遊泳、釣魚。
2、因為放假期間，無專人監控花江校區水質，故水龍頭的水不能直接飲用，請大家平時購買桶裝水或礦泉水飲用。
五、離開桂林，必須登記
假期留校期間，離開桂林市的同學一定要到值班室（31棟101辦公室）或者32棟辦公室登記出行時間及回校時間。假期期間，如果離開桂林的同學，必須要到學生助理處登記。
以上幾點注意事項同學們必須遵守，可避免不必要的麻煩。如不遵守，後果自負。如果有突發事件，請及時聯繫留學生辦公室的值班老師，聯繫電話：0773-2305295。
