可以貼金屬膠放行的封膠
更換窗或者修復破損的膠時,由於密封膠的固化時間比較長,如果飛機停場時間不充裕,可以貼金屬膠飛行。注意每個航段檢查金屬膠情況。
駕駛艙1號、3號以及4、5號窗,參考AMM 56-11-11/21/31,駕駛艙2號窗參考AMM56-12-11,如密封膠沒有完全固化,可以在密封膠上貼鋁箔金屬膠帶放行飛機。手冊具體章節可以通過搜索關鍵詞G00291在AMM56章找。

可以延期封膠的部件
更換MB、RA、TCAS、ATC、DME、ADF和GPS等天線,參考AMM34章和SL 20-043,如果對部件封膠會導致航班延誤,可以執行航班後再封膠,天線周圍不允許貼金屬膠帶。手冊具體章節可通過搜索關鍵詞SL 20-043在AMM34章查找。

不能延期封膠的部件
對於水平安定面前緣或者機翼的封膠,飛機在封膠前不能執行航班。經諮詢波音,原因大致如下。
封膠用來填充結構和蒙皮之間的縫隙,保持氣動外形平滑,以提高飛機性能。機翼和水平安定面前緣屬於關鍵區域,沒有填充的縫隙可能會結冰,冰塊脫落有可能對其他部件造成損傷。如果要保留放行,只能按個例報波音,而且還有一定的條件,以消除提到的風險。
The purpose of sealant application on leading edge skin of wing or stabilizer is to:
1. Fill the gap btw the skin and other structures.
2. Maintain the aerodynamic smoothness requirements - The 737 airplane must have an aerodynamically clean shape and a smooth external surface to give high performance. It is important to keep the initial contour and smoothness of the external surfaces of the airplane.
According to SRM 51-10-01, Leading Edge of Wing and Stabilizer has been identified as the Extra Critical Area – extra high level of Aerodynamic Smoothness is necessary for these areas.
Besides, the unfilled gap btw the leading edge skin and other structures could cause ice to accumulate. This will further change the wing or stabilizer contour to reduce the airplane performance or result in premature stalling. The accumulated ice may also depart from the airplane and further damage other structures.
Our database also indicates several special approvals for the deferment of sealant application. But those are on case-by-case basisand will require additional procedure to avoid the risk mentioned above.

封膠固化時間和加速方法
如果已經封膠,但是發現固化時間達不到要求,可參考AMMTASK51-31-00-390-809 Accelerated Curing,用熱風槍或加溫燈給密封膠加溫,縮短固化時間。
