「森林教育」最重要的兩個特點是:一切以孩子為中心和引導式教學。所以無論是園所的常規課程還是各種課外活動,我們在準備與策劃時,都是在引導小朋友去思考、探索以及體驗,希望以此能鍛鍊小朋友們的想像力、好奇心以及動手能力和學習能力。

舉個小例子,之前我們給小朋友們上過一個戶外課程,課程主題很簡單--找螞蟻,但課程內容卻很豐富噢。我們首先告訴小朋友們什麼是螞蟻和螞蟻一般在哪裡「生活」,再讓小朋友們主動去尋找,最後讓小朋友對自己的觀察到的螞蟻進行一個描述。
For example, we've had an outdoor class for kids before. The topic is simple -- looking for ants, but it's very rich. We first tell the children what ants and where ants generally "live ", then let the children take the initiative to look for, and finally let the children to their own observation of the ants for a description.
在快樂的戶外課程中,小朋友們不僅經歷了認知--探索--反饋這一學習過程,同時小朋友們的注意力、觀察力、表達能力也都能得到鍛鍊。
