在英語中，warn 意為警告，在表達「警告」的時候，常用到的結構有三種：
warn sb. of/about sth：就（啥啥事兒）而警告誰誰誰；
Every visitor is warned f the danger. 每個遊客都會受到對於危險的提醒。
The driver warned the passengers about thieves. 司機警告乘客防範扒手。
warn sb (not) to do sth：是「警告誰誰誰不要做啥啥啥」；
The vicar warned the visitors not to pick the leaves from the tree. 教區牧師警告遊人不要摘樹葉。
He was warned not to do that again. 他被警告不要在那樣做。
warn sb. + that 從句：意為「警告某人說……（說的話）」。
I warn you that if you do not work hard you are sure to be fired. 我警告你，如果你依舊不好好幹就解僱你。
He was warned that he might be revenged. 他被警告會得到報復。
