個人簡介：Robert R. Reisz（羅伯特•賴茲），多倫多大學生物學系古生物學特聘教授；吉林大學榮譽教授、唐敖慶講座教授、博士生導師；吉林大學恐龍演化研究中心名譽主任；加拿大皇家科學院院士；美國科學促進會會士（院士）。

報告簡介：大鼻龍類（Captorhinids）是早期基幹真爬行類的一個多樣化類群，生存於晚石炭世至晚二疊世，化石分布在北美、歐洲、亞洲和非洲。頭骨強壯、前頜骨下彎是它們的標誌性特徵。早期大鼻龍類是以昆蟲為食的小型爬行類，早二疊世晚期一些類群的體型增大，有些進化出多齒列，為雜食和植食性。大鼻龍類具有特別的生態多樣性歷史，其化石記錄對於探討早期爬行類的演化有重要意義。
