語法寶典：hair與hairs

　　此題應選 C，容易誤選 A，誤認為hair永遠不可數。其實hair這個詞既可以是可數名詞，也可以是不可數名詞，只是含義稍有變化：

　　1. 作為可數名詞，是指一根一根的「頭髮」或「毛髮」：

　　Look at this, a hair in my soup. 你瞧，我的湯裡有根頭髮。

　　The cat has left her loose hairs all over my clothes. 貓掉的毛弄得我衣服上到處都是。

　　My father has quite a few gray hairs. 我父親已有不少白髮。

　　There is not a gray hair on his head. 他頭上沒有一根白頭髮。

　　2. 作為不可數名詞「頭髮」的總稱，是集合名詞：

　　I』ll have my hair cut. 我要去理髮。

　　He has blond hair. 他有一頭金髮。

　　She has a beautiful head of hair. 她有一頭漂亮的頭髮。

　　The woman likes to do her hair in foreign style. 這個女人喜歡把頭髮梳成外國式。

　　試比較以下句子：

　　He has grey hair. 他滿頭白髮。

　　He has grey hairs. 他有些白髮了。
