維基百科：（Wardell Stephen Curry ，1988年3月14日－），生於美國俄亥俄州阿克倫城，美國職業籃球運動員，在2009年NBA選秀中被金州勇士隊（Golden State Warriors）在第一輪第七順位選中，位置為控球後衛，效力於金州勇士。大學時期曾入選全美第一隊（first-team All-America）且獲得許多個人獎。

2014~15賽季, 庫裡獲得了NBA最有價值球員並帶領勇士隊以4:2擊敗由勒布朗·詹姆斯領軍的克利夫蘭騎士隊，奪下自1975年以來的第一座NBA總冠軍 。

一 .童年

1988年3月14號，史蒂芬.庫裡出生在俄亥俄州的阿克倫城。史蒂芬.庫裡的父親，戴爾.庫裡是NBA球隊夏洛特黃蜂隊的得分後衛，雖然不是超級巨星，卻也是一名算得上號的球星（夏洛特黃蜂隊隊史得分王，隊史三分王，曾獲最佳第六人榮譽）。

作為球星的兒子，史蒂芬.庫裡無疑是幸運的。比起NBA很多出身貧民窟的，優越的家境和自小跟隨父親在球場的歷練，對史蒂芬.庫裡形成超高的籃球智商具有決定性作用。 這一點與長他10歲的科比相似。

然而，籃球的戰場，終歸是長人和猛人的天下。身高193釐米，體重86公斤的戴爾.庫裡能夠在NBA完成16年職業生涯，靠的是一手精湛的投籃。作為戴爾.庫裡的兒子，史蒂芬.庫裡那一張娃娃臉，使得他看起來比父親更加瘦弱，儘管自小在父親的薰陶和指教下的苦練，已經讓他的投籃技術超越他的父親了，但沒有人願意相信他能在聯盟裡佔有一席之地。

二. 大學

2006年，已經在高中籃球聯賽呼風喚雨的史蒂芬.庫裡滿懷信心申請加入杜克大學（美國大學籃球名校），然而K教練（杜克大學籃球隊教練）以「身材太弱小」的理由拒絕了。彼時史蒂芬.庫裡身高只有1米83，體重還不到75公斤。戴爾·庫裡帶著兒子走遍全美各大籃球名校，但都被拒之門外。戴爾.庫裡甚至厚著臉面把兒子推薦給自己的母校維吉尼亞理工大學，在那裡，他可是校史的名人堂球員，依然無果。「抱歉，你兒子不是打NCAA（全美大學體育協會）的料」，這是戴爾.庫裡當時得到的答覆。 無奈之下，史蒂芬.庫裡只能去了NCAA一級聯賽中規模最小的戴維森學院，因為只有這所籃球水平在NCAA排不上號的戴維森學院才願意為庫裡提供獎學金。 進入大學後，史蒂芬.庫裡開始展示他的投籃天賦，不僅幫助學校取得了1969年以來的首場NCAA勝利，還曾憑藉一己之力將戴維森帶進NCAA瘋狂的三月精英八強，完成了單賽季命中162個三分球的壯舉，打破了NCAA歷史紀錄。
