「你看看他那副樣子,他能幹什麼」;
"Look at him, what can he do?";
「他連狗都不如」;
"He's worse than a dog";
「他就是傻子」;
"He's a big fool";
"Stay away from him."
Such those words, Hong Lu has heard countless times in his growing-up life.
A cerebral palsy man, a fool, and a disabled man who was called "worse than a dog" became a boss earning tens of millions. Anyway, Such this exception sounds unrealistic, but it is Hong Lu's real life.
"My first name is fool."
When he was young, the toxic encephalitis caused by a high fever led to cerebellar command nerve disorder.
He became a cerebral palsy man.
He got cramp in his facial muscles, which made them spasmodic at times, and he couldn't straighten up his hands.
Till this day, he couldn't speak fluently and couldn't walk as well as a normal person.
Peers' ridicule, isolation.
Adults' whispers and gossipping.
Amid Hong Lu's childhood.
When he grew up to look for a job, because of his disability, he was always rejected again and again.
Finally, he found a job in a factory. People in the factory mocked Hong Lu directly in front of his mother: "Look at your son, what can he do? If I keep a dog, it would be better than him."
"It was summer, and I felt for the first time that it was so cold and I was trembling all over."
However, Hong Lu refused to give in to others' assertions.
"I feel very sad that I'm called fool, but I don't believe it."
He started at a mooncake factory, where he was in charge of packaging simple mooncakes.
Later, he went out to set up a small stall to repair bicycles, although he was more tired and it took a lof of time and effort. He proved with his actions that he was't a useless man.
"Gradually, people called me Xiao Lu."
In order to earn more money, Hong Lu tried everything and suffered all kinds of hardships.
"I could do more in my spare time apart from repairing bikes, I thought I could do some sideline work."
"I've run a small boiling water room, and later sold newspapers, opened a telephone shop and a disc shop..."
No matter what he did, Hong Lu was very conscientious and never skimped on work .
He paid more than ordinary people twice, three times or even more energy to do a thing well, gradually, there were no people that called him fool, more and more people called him "Xiao Lu" and "Master Lu".
An even bigger change came with an old computer worth 300 rmb.
It was bought by his mother for training his brain.
Through the Internet, Hong Lu came across a man who was good at post-production.
Naturally, he didn't miss the opportunity to keep learning all the time. He learned some post-production skill from that man, and then explored the creation of various videos and album templates by himself.
Gradually, some people came to him for editing wedding videos and making electronic albums.
It didn't bring him much money, but it opened the door to a new world for him.
Because of prime service with a small charge, Hong Lu's service had a very good reputation among his customers.
Soon, an old man found Hong Lu by the recommendation of others. He wanted to give his wife an electronic album as a golden wedding gift, Hong Lu was deeply moved and he insisted on helping the old man complete the production of the electronic album free of charge.
The two became friends.
The old man was a photography teacher in a university for the aged. During the chat, he knew Hong Lu's story and was deeply touched. After learning that the young man had a dream of opening a photo studio to record happiness, he offered to teach Hong Lu photography.
The old man taught seriously while Hong Lu learned more seriously.
From the most basic use of the camera to post-production of photo adjustment, Hong Lu gradually mastered a new skill.
Soon after, a small photo studio opened.
Unconsciously, he has left those pepole behind who have mocked him.
"Now most people call me Boss Lu."
In an interview with Donggua Video, Lu mentioned that when he communicates with others about business, they don't treat him as a disabled man, but like a successful entrepreneur. At that moment he laughed like a child.
There was no inferiority and despair between the eyes and eyebrows.
Shortly after the studio opened, Alibaba developed rapidly and E-commerce became more and more popular.
Hong Lu, who had some savings, didn't miss the opportunity.
He opened his first online shop and was responsible for the production of photography albums and picture albums.
"Well, that's my world."
How confident he is.
From small workshop with a few people to a large factory.
From a few orders to exports to the UK, France and the US.
From earning a little money a day to earning 10 million a year.
Hong Lu became a veritable Boss Lu.
"The disabled are my baby," he said this word when he became the boss.
"The disabled people here, they are all my treasures."
As a disabled man, Hong Lu deeply understands that the living environment of disabled people is quite difficult: lack of attention and help.
A netizen once had this question: when she was in the UK, she saw many disabled people on the street. Why are there so few disabled people in the public in China?
In fact, it isn't that there are few disabled people in China, but that they are rarely seen or even taken seriously. As Hong Lu said, people have been holding an discriminatory viewpoint: "It seems that we are useless".
The total number of disabled people in China exceeds 85 million.
The social stereotype keeps many disabled people trapped in a small circle.
Being unable to find a job is seen as a drag, as Hong Lu experienced:
"My father was sick and wanted to leave half of the money for my future use; My mother always said that my father was the pillar of the family. I just thought, why do I have to be taken care of by my parents? why can't I be the pillar of the family?"
Now he has become the breadwinner of his family, also "Boss Lu".
Now that he has ability to do more, he wants to help more people like him.
"The disabled want to shine, want to heat more, and I want to make a little contribution to provide them with a place to shine and heat."
At Hong Lu's factory, 24 of the 42 employees are disabled.
Before that, there were dozens of disabled people who learned technique here and then went out to get rich with it.
"I really believe that life will change more and more."
There are 24 disabled people working in the factory today.
有人是聾啞人;
Some are deaf and dumb;
有人是視力殘疾;
Some are visually impaired;
Some depend on crutches, some rely on wheelchairs.
Someone fell into hemiplegia in his childhood and has only one hand to type...
For these disabled people, Hong Lu's factory is not only a place to work, but also a school and a home.
A little brother who is in charge of packing, he had dysacousis at the age of 3, then he had difficulty in communicating with people.
When he looked for a job, he deserved countless contempt.
Now he talks confidently about the future.
The ace customer service representative in the factory, is also a disabled man. Because of hemiplegia he has only one hand to type. He tried to remember the layout of keyboard and practice blind typing. Now he can talk with 5 or 6 people at the same time. He works as good as any customer service representatives.
For some people, work is hard.
But for them, work is a way to find their own value.
They want to prove it to themselves, and to the world.
Now when Hong Lu looks back on his life as a disabled man.
He doesn't even have the slightest inferiority or embarrassment, he is proud of his life.
"I feel God arranged everything very well, and my life is more wonderful than others', he not only let me make money, but also let me know that I am a useful man, I can contribute to the society.
A bad life with nothing, will it change?
Hong Lu gave the best answer with actual deeds.
