It happens that foreigners working and living in Bao'an are often confused when confronted with the complex Chinese financial and taxation issues to be tackled. However, this situation will be temporary as Bao'an brings them a free "Knowledge Package"!
在寶安工作生活的「歪果仁」們，面對需要處理的紛繁複雜的中國金融財稅問題，往往會一臉懵。不過，這些困惑都是暫時的，因為寶安給他們送來了一個免費的「知識禮包」！
On the afternoon of December 18, 2020, an on-site Q&A meeting on the financial and taxation policies for foreign talents in Bao'an was held at German Enterprises Innovation Centre (GBA International Talents Harbor) by Human Resources Bureau of Bao'an District, attracting over 30 talents from China and abroad to take active part in.
2020年12月18日下午，寶安區人力資源局在德國企業創新中心（暨灣區國際人才港）舉辦寶安外籍人才金融財稅政策現場答疑活動，吸引了超過30名中外人才的踴躍參與。

This Q&A meeting is an important component of the preliminary communication services held in the German (European) Enterprises Innovation Centre (GBA International Talents Harbor). It aims to increase the service level of Bao'an District for international talents, accelerate the establishment of an international precise service center integrating entrepreneurship, talents and services together, and promote the upgrading of industries in Bao'an through scientific and technological innovation and international services.
此次答疑活動是德國（歐洲）企業創新中心（暨灣區國際人才港）前期交流服務活動的重要組成部分，旨在提升寶安區國際化人才服務水平，加快建成集創業、人才、服務於一體的國際化精準服務聚集地，通過科技創新和國際服務促進寶安產業升級。
At the beginning, Jia Yan, a staff member from Human Resources Bureau of Bao'an District, introduced several important platforms organized by Bao'an District for the entrepreneurship and innovation of international talents and the service of talents - the German Enterprises Innovation Centre, Entrepreneurship Island for Returned International Talents (EIRIT), and Sino-German Industrial Park. These platforms are set up to assist foreigners and returned international talents to get better employment and entrepreneurship in Bao'an.
在活動開始，寶安區人力資源局工作人員賈妍向外籍人才推介了寶安區針對國際人才創新創業、人才服務的幾個重要平臺——德國企業創新中心、海歸島和中德（歐）產業示範園，希望能夠助力外籍人士以及海歸人員在寶安更好地就業創業。

Minister Chen Yiqun from Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Bao'an interpreted the industrial policies, financial policies and specific measures of enterprise services in Bao'an District. It is hoped that these preferential policies will help foreign talents understand the entrepreneurial environment and available policy resources in Bao'an.

Liu Xinyou, senior consultant of Baoyong Certified Public Accountants' Firm, gave a detailed explanation of the current taxation environment in China and the preferential tax policies for foreign individuals in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which deepened the understanding of Chinese and foreign talents on personal taxation related knowledge and policies.
寶永會計師事務所高級諮詢顧問劉新友則對當下中國稅收環境和粵港澳大灣區外籍個人稅收優惠政策進行了詳細講解，加深了中外人才對個人稅收相關知識及政策的了解和認識。

The Chinese and foreign talents on the scene asked the speakers about the personal income tax deductions for foreigners, the method of calculating the tax amount of foreign talents, and whether there are risks in purchasing social insurance for foreigners, and the speakers gave answers in simple terms. Throughout the Q&A session, the Human Resources Bureau of Bao'an District prepared simultaneous interpretation services for all foreigners, so that the foreigners who were puzzled by the relevant policies immediately felt "enlightened" and deeply felt the sincerity in serving international talents from Bao'an, Shenzhen.
現場的中外人才就外籍人員個人所得稅扣稅、境外人才稅額測算方法、外國人購買社保是否存在風險等問題對主講人進行了提問，主講人都給予了深入淺出的回答。在答疑會的全程，寶安區人力資源局為所有外籍人士準備了同聲傳譯服務，讓原本對相關政策感到摸不著頭腦的「歪果仁」們也感到頓時「開竅」，深刻感受到了深圳、寶安對服務國際人才的誠意。
