★ 誤區一：belt不一定是皮的
(1) Belt：腰帶、皮帶
很多同學知道皮帶的英文是belt，但是，belt不一定是皮的，它的質地也可以是布的、金屬的等等。
This beltis made of leather, and that belt is made of cloth.
這條腰帶是皮的，那條腰帶是布的。
★ 誤區二：通過打結方式系的腰帶不叫belt
(2) Tie：（通過打結方式系的）帶
Tie the waist tieon your bathrobe.
把浴衣的腰帶繫上。
The tieof your bathrobe came out of the loops.
你的浴衣帶從環兒裡掉出來了。
(3) Sash: （正式服裝上通過打結方式系的）帶
She tied her sasha very pretty way.
她把腰帶系得很漂亮。
★ 誤區三：藏在褲腰裡的腰帶不叫belt
(4) Drawstring：拉繩
Tie the drawstringon your pants.
把你的褲帶繫上。
Put your candy in the pouch, pull the drawstringtight on both sides, closing the pouch, and then tie the strings.
把糖果放到小袋子裡，拉兩側的拉繩，把小袋子拉上，然後把繩繫上。
(5) Elastic：鬆緊帶
The elasticof my pants is old. My pants keep falling down a little.
我的褲子的鬆緊帶老化了。我的褲子老是有點往下掉。
The elasticis falling apart and leaving little pieces everywhere.
鬆緊帶碎了，到處掉渣。
★ 誤區四：「腰帶」不能逐字翻譯成waistband
Waistband指的是褲腰、裙腰，並不是帶子。

Her waistbandwas too tight, so I let it out.
她的褲腰太緊了，我給她鬆了松。
★ 誤區五：收腹帶不叫waistband
(7) Waist trainer：收腹帶
I used a waist trainerafter I gave birth to you.
我生完你以後用收腹帶來著。
★ 誤區六：「腰」帶和「非腰」部位的帶子不一樣
褲子上的、腰以外部位的帶子叫strap。
(8) Strap：帶
Shoulder straps：背帶、肩帶
Fasten the shoulder strapson your overalls.
把你背帶褲的背帶繫緊。
There are some strapson his pants.
他的褲子上有許多帶子。
