我不是一個音樂素養很高的聽者，我習慣於把聲音、旋律和節奏交給耳朵和心情，把歌詞交給文化，把思想交給腦袋，把情感交給人性。所以我不是一個音樂發燒友。當下大多數音樂發燒友只不過是一些聲音技術鑑定者（有的成了匠人）和設備愛好者（燒錢者）。而我顯然不是。我更多的是一個關注音樂文化的聽者。編寫此篇並放在這個公眾號上是為了開悟一位優秀的年輕人。我與這位年輕認識二十多年了。

大部分中國聽者是通過下面這首歌認識Bryan Adams的，我也不例外。

這首歌是Bryan Adams的成名曲，或者《EverythingI Do》讓Bryan Adams成為國際性歌手，「國際巨星」「搖滾天王」這種話我還是不說了吧，實在是難以說出口。但Bryan Adams的確是一個極富才華的好歌手。他不但會唱，而且能寫能譜。或許後者更加優秀。

說實話，Bryan Adams的嗓子條件並不是太好，但是很有特色的那種，沙啞的嗓音與他的Soft Rock很搭。如果光有這些，Bryan Adams也很難徵服聽者。
那是什麼呢?
歌詞！對！就是他的歌詞，字字情真意切、感人肺腑，句句痛徹心扉，戳中淚點。

Bryan Adams應該是個情場高手，他的歌能讓一個女孩子在幾秒之內完全失控淚崩，原諒你之前所有的錯，重新依偎到你的懷裡。這是我聽完這首歌的直接感受。我不知道他的這一特長，是與生俱來，還是他混世界的過程中與女人的交往所得。

Bryan Adams與Diana Krall和Sarah Mclachlan等許多大牌歌手都有合作，這兩位也是我喜歡的加拿大女歌手，一個爵士，一個流行略帶New Age。儘管他們歌路不同，但我總覺得她倆要比他的段位高一些，特別是SarahMclachlan能把她處的年代的迷惘和憂傷詮釋得淋漓盡致，幾近病態，簡直是毒品，欲罷不能。而且其厚度也讓BryanAdams望塵莫及。不過下面這兩首合作歌曲真的很一般，我臨時決定不上傳了。

Bryan Adams的巔峰時期是上世紀90年代，之前是打地基，之後只是在不斷地往「Bryan Adams」大廈裡塞東西。2019年是他60大壽，聽說將有所表達。我個人認為，不要太過期待，不會有什麼突破，仍然將是往「Bryan Adams」中填充一些可有可無的音樂元素。

Bryan Adams1959年11月5日出生在加拿大安大略省的金斯頓。由於父母從事外交工作，BryanAdams從小跟隨外交官父母周遊列國，直到1973年Adams一家才在加拿大的維多利亞定居下來。1975年，未滿16歲布萊恩離開學校開始追求自己的音樂夢想。上世紀80年代以搖滾歌手身份火過一陣子，並開始在美國、歐洲、日本、澳大利亞等國巡演。上世界90年代一首《Everything I Do,I Do It for you》使其真正成為一名世界級的歌手。
Bryan Adams是一個素食主義者，現居倫敦切爾西和巴黎，與前私人助理AliciaGrimaldi育有兩個女兒（2011、2013）。Bryan Adams還是慈善熱心者、球迷、演員、攝影師和雜誌出版人。
Bryan Adams去過世界許多國家，或巡演，或旅行，包括中國的許多周邊國家，但就是沒來過中國，至少我沒找到這方面的記錄。
