《這個殺手不太冷》上映於1994年，由法國導演呂克·貝松編劇及執導，讓·雷諾、蓋瑞·歐德曼及娜塔麗·波特曼主演，本片主要拍攝地點是紐約。
影片當中充滿著藝術的氣息，甚至殺人的現場也象藝術品一樣的獨特和唯美。導演在影片中更多的表達了對現實中的一些醜惡事物的批判，為了利益警察可以成為殺人的匪徒，他們在正義的大旗下肆意屠殺。還有Mathilda那毫無親情可言的家庭，最終因為他們的貪婪而葬送了性命。當然，更多地是講敘了陌生人之間的友愛，呵護，交融與為愛獻身的東西。
這部電影是呂克·貝松寫的一首殺手輓歌，在這曲輓歌中，我們看到的，是人性由泯滅到復甦的全過程。裡昂在最後一刻是幸福的，臉上掛著微笑，他做了他一直想做的。
片中的音樂製作精良，主題曲《Shape Of My Heart》由老牌歌手Sting演繹，優美的旋律烘託出了故事的真諦，起到了煽人淚下的效果。其中的歌詞寫得微妙出彩，詠嘆了殺手萊昂將殺人比成了一出紙牌遊戲，黑桃，梅花，方抉什麼都在手心握著，唯獨只差那一張紅心，他一直在不斷尋找直到與瑪蒂爾達的相遇。
該片獲1994年凱撒獎7項提名。
