How many roads must a man walk down
Before they call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
How many times must the cannon-balls fly
Before they 『re forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin』 in the wind
The answer is blowin』 in thewind.
How many years must a mountain exist
Before it is washed to the sea?
How many years can some people exist
Before they’re allowed to befree?
How many times can a man turn his head
Pretend that he just doesn’t see?
The answer my friend is blowin』 in thewind.
The answer is blowin』 in the wind
How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
How many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
How many deaths will it take
Till he knows that too many people havedied?
The answer, my friend, is blowin』in the wind
The answer is blowin』i...he wind.

Come gather 'round people, wherever youroam
And admit that the waters around you havegrown
And accept it that soon you'll be drenchedto the bone
If your time to you is worth saving
Then you better start swimmin' or you'llsink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'
Come writers and critics who prophesisewith your pen
And keep your eyes wide, the chance won'tcome again
And don't speak too soon, for the wheel'sstill in spin
And there's no tellin' who that it's namin'
For the loser now will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'
Come senators, congressmen, please heed thecall
Don't stand in the doorway, don't block upthe hall
For he that gets hurt will be he who hasstalled
The battle outside ragin'
Will soon shake your windows and rattleyour walls
For the times they are a-changin'
Come mothers and fathers throughout theland
And don't criticize what you can'tunderstand
Your sons and your daughters are beyond yourcommand
Your old road is rapidly aging
Please get out of the new one if you can'tlend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'
The line, it is drawn, the curse, it iscast
The slow one now will later be fast
As the present now will later be past
The order is rapidly fadin'
And the first one now will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'
Mr. Tambourine Man
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'mgoing to.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
In the jingle jangle morning I'll comefollowin' you.
Though I know that evenin's empire hasreturned into sand,
Vanished from my hand,
Left me blindly here to stand but still notsleeping.
My weariness amazes me, I'm branded on myfeet,
I have no one to meet
And the ancient empty street's too dead fordreaming.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'mgoing to.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
In the jingle jangle morning I'll comefollowin' you.
Take me on a trip upon your magic swirlin'ship,
My senses have been stripped, my handscan't feel to grip,
My toes too numb to step, wait only for myboot heels
To be wanderin'.
I'm ready to go anywhere, I'm ready for tofade
Into my own parade, cast your dancing spellmy way,
I promise to go under it.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'mgoing to.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
In the jingle jangle morning I'll comefollowin' you.
Though you might hear laughin', spinnin',swingin' madly
across the sun,
It's not aimed at anyone, it's justescapin' on the run
And but for the sky there are no fencesfacin'.
And if you hear vague traces of skippin'reels of rhyme
To your tambourine in time, it's just aragged clown behind,
I wouldn't pay it any mind, it's just ashadow you're
Seein' that he's chasing.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'mgoing to.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
In the jingle jangle morning I'll comefollowin' you.
Then take me disappearin' through the smokerings of my mind,
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past thefrozen leaves,
The haunted, frightened trees, out to thewindy beach,
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow.
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky withone hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by thecircus sands,
With all memory and fate driven deepbeneath the waves,
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'mgoing to.
Hey! Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song forme,
In the jingle jangle morning I'll comefollowin' you.
