動詞bore的意思是"使厭煩".Bore someone to death的意思就是"把某人煩得要死".例如：That guy bores me to death. He never stops taking about his past history. (哪個傢伙讓我煩得要死。他總滔滔不絕地講他的過去。)
A: Everyone knows the feeling of working with such a dreadful boss. 人人都知道和這樣一個可怕的老闆一起工作會是一種什麼心情。
