路德·范德魯斯（Luther Vandross，1951—2005），美國節奏藍調（R&B）和靈魂音樂創作歌手兼詞曲作者。2004年他憑藉歌曲Dance With My Father（《與父親共舞》）感動無數樂迷，令他一舉拿下格萊美最佳單曲、最佳藍調歌手和最佳藍調專輯三項大獎。可惜他因健康原因未能出席，以錄影帶的方式帶去了他的祝福和感言：「記住，我一定會再回來的，因為，我相信愛的力量！」這份意志曾打動過不少人的心。這首歌紀念家庭親情：他的父親因糖尿病併發症去世，而那一年他只有七歲。因家庭遺傳，他本人也有糖尿病和高血壓。這首歌發行不久，他也因嚴重的腦梗塞昏迷了將近兩個月。不幸的是，他於2005年7月1日去世。
