It's the finals of the very popular Chinese show i SuperModel, the show just ended, and we are now whisked away into a secret room with two super stars of the creative world. They are non other than the judges of the show: Miss J. (also a judge on America's Next Top Model by Tyra Banks), and Yu Tsai (also the Creative Director for America's Next Top Model).

Sophie:Yu Tsai, how did you start workingon the show? Yu Tsai: "Miss J was already on the show for two previous seasons, and he convinced me to be part of the i SuperModel family".
"It's a must, we both work on an other show called America's next top model" comments Miss J, "and when we met we just fell in love with each other's personality and character".
Sophie: "What attracted you both to China?" Yu Tsai and Miss J: "We like the food in China, we eat a lot of rice, noodles, dumplings - and experiencing China with Yu Tsai, you experience a very Zen kind of China".

i SuperModel is a Chinese reality series and modeling competition. The show places a group of fourteen female contestants who are selected by a mentor to compete in teams of seven. The goal of the show is to immerse the finalists into the world of high fashion through several editorial shoots and high paced challenges, finding the perfect supermodel.

Miss J, also known as Alexander Jenkins was born in South Bronx,New York City in 1958. As a teenager he turned to modeling when he met the president of Elite Model Management, Monique Pillard.
Pillard was so impressed with his look that he signed him to her agency, and he walked for designer Jean Paul Gaultier in New York City. Alexander met Tyra Banks backstage at a runway show, and he began to give Banks walking lessons. Banks coined Alexander's title "Queen of the Catwalk".
He also worked with supermodel Naomi Campbell and model Kimora Lee Simmons, Nadja Auermann, Claudia Mason to name a few.

Yu Tsai was born in Taiwan and moved to a farm in Indiana with his family as a young child. He then attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, studying graphic design.
His photography has been featured in magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Vogue Thailand, and Vogue Japan. He has photographed celebrities including Janet Jackson, Anne Hathaway, Alicia Keys,Ashley Judd, Zhang Ziyi, Ewan McGregor and many more!
