For the development of science, culture and education, for the respect and understanding for other ways of life and religions. Peace is the precondition for the exchange beyond borders and languages. Only in common can the gap between rich and poor be bridged. Only together we find a way to preserve the nature.

克勞斯・海瑟，出生於德國艾伯費爾特市，畢業於伍珀塔爾大學攝影和字體專業，曾以藝術總監的身份活躍於漢堡、慕尼黑和杜塞道夫等地的設計業界，個人先後獲得超過200項著名國際設計類大獎。1988年與克莉絲緹娜・海瑟在杜塞道夫共同創立海瑟設計公司，並於2001年在柏林，2016年在上海開設分公司。海瑟設計負責為眾多德國知名企業及政府，如，奧迪、博世、施華洛世奇、杜塞道夫城市等設計了企業及城市形象。2004年海瑟設計公司被德國權威媒體授予「德國最具創新力的設計公司」稱號，並於2006年贏得德國著名的「基爾帆船周」設計大獎。
1993年至1998年克勞斯・海瑟先後被多特蒙德大學和埃森大學聘為視覺傳達專業教授。1999年起任教於德國奧芬巴赫藝術與設計大學。2000年，海瑟教授創辦hfg新視覺傳達研究院。2006年, 由海瑟教授負責帶領的視覺傳達設計部門榮登德國權威藝術與設計大學排名榜首。自2011年起，擔任奧芬巴赫設計學院視覺傳達學院院長至今。多年以來，海瑟教授也積極在中國，澳大利亞和南非等國家開展教學活動。此外，他是2003年「11位設計師」活動及2010年第一屆德中平面設計雙年展的策展及發起人之一。1998年，創辦及負責主編著名設計刊物《壽司sushi》。2015年，受邀成為上海德稻教育集團品牌及視覺傳達設計大師。同時，也是紐約TDC成員之一等。

Klaus Hesse born in Elberfeld/Germany studied Photography and Typography at the University of Wuppertal. Following his studies, he worked as an Art Director in Hamburg, Munich and Düsseldorf. He has won more than 200 international awards. Together with Christine Hesse he founded Hesse Design in Düsseldorf in 1988, in Berlin in 2001, and in Shanghai in 2016. Hesse Design is responsible for the corporate image of numerous renowned German companies like Audi, Bosch, City of Düsseldorf and Swarovski. In 2004, the specialist media nominated Hesse Design as the most creative design studio in Germany. In 2006,Klaus Hesse won the design competition at "KielerWoche".
In 1993, he was appointed Professor for Conceptual Design in Dortmund and, in1998, also in Essen. He has taught in Offenbach since 1999. In 2000, Klaus Hesse has found the Institute for New Communication at the HfG. In 2006, the department of Communication Design of HfG Offenbach leaded by Klaus Hesse becomes top 1 of the German Art and Design Universities. Klaus Hesse is Dean of School of Art since 2011. Since many years he is teaching in Australia, China and South Africa too. He has been one of the initiators of "11Designer",in 2003, the"1st Graphic Design Biennial Germany China 2010" and is the Editor-in-Chief of "sushi" magazine since 1998. Klaus Hesse is Master of Identity, Design and Communication of the DeTao Academy/Shanghai since 2015. He is a member of the Type Directors Club of New York.
