經典組合Everything but the girl女主音Tracey Thorn的個人專輯《out of the woods》,正式發行日期為2007年3月5日,首隻主打單曲"It's all true"將搶先於2月19日發行.單曲的MV與去年底錄製完成.
Tracey Thorn與Ben Watt共同組成的Everything but the girl(後來他們成為了夫妻)，自80年代開始以清新脫俗的作品風靡世界各地，之後轉入電音領域創造另一個高峰。事實上從90年代開始Tracey Thorn便積極向外發展，她與Massive Attack及Deep Dish等電聲團體的合作至今仍傳為佳話。然而2000年後卻遲遲未見Tracey Thorn蹤影，直到2005年才在德國雙人電音組合Tiefschwarz的專輯《Eat Books》中跨刀助陣。Tracey Thorn於1982年發行首張個人迷你專輯《Distant Shore》，轉眼之間已是25年，這張讓樂迷久候多時的首張個人創作專輯《Out Of The Woods》，收錄的作品風格迥異，除了有瞄準舞池的Disco和流行金曲，還有迷幻與民謠曲風。其中助陣的音樂人皆是電音界的菁英份子，包括Tom Gandey(化名Cagebaby)、Martin Wheeler(化名Vector Lovers)、Alex Santos與英國House製作人Charles Webster，當中出力最多的則是曾為Goldfrapp與Pet Shop Boys等經典電子組合炮製混音作品的Ewan Pearson。
