加拿大聯邦技術移民名額充沛，無緊缺職業列表限制，一人成功，全家均可同時獲得加拿大永久居民身份。獲得永居後無工作要求，無加拿大境內居住地限制，目前採用EE快速通道(Express Entry)篩選系統，審理快速，周期最快8個月登陸加拿大。
申請條件：
l1. 年齡：主申請人年滿18周歲

l5. 資產：至少擁有1.5萬加幣的家庭淨資產
l6. 無犯罪記錄
l7. 身體健康，無重大傳染性疾病有意願申請技術移民的朋友，先要在一個EE系統進行自主評分。
申請人首先要註冊EE，成功註冊EE後會進入候選池，EE下是擇優錄取，分數高的會被優先選中。被選中的申請人會收到籤證邀請，有資格申請加拿大永久居民身份。新的EE系統與傳統的聯邦申請的最大區別在於申請人不能主動遞交申請，而是要被動的被篩選後，才能進行下一步的籤證申請。這樣就有效的避免了一些不具備申請資格或者材料不充分的無效申請，大大縮減了移民局審核的時間，使得移民局有更多的時間來處理合格的申請。

加拿大EE申請流程：
第一步：進入EE候選池申請人自我評估如果滿足以上列出的前三個類別中的一種（FSW，FST或CEC），即可到移民局官網註冊MyCIC帳戶，填寫需要的信息，在線提交EE，進入候選池，同時註冊JobBank，等待移民局的邀請。
第二步：申請省提名對於自身分數較低（低於450分）的申請人（EE下的評分情況參考下面的EE評分表格），可以考慮申請EE下的省提名，獲得600分的加分，從而可以快速獲得移民局的邀請。當前開放過或者正在開放EE下省提名項目的省有：BC省BCPNP，薩省SINP，新省NSNP，安省OINP和新不倫瑞克省NBNP等。
第三步：移民局發邀請ITA加拿大移民局每個月發兩次EE邀請，達到當輪最低邀請分數的申請人，會獲得移民局籤證邀請ITA。
第四步：遞交籤證申請申請人獲得ITA後，需要在60天內遞交籤證申請，此時——1、如果申請人在加拿大境內持有工籤，可以申請橋梁工籤（邀請之前不具備這樣的條件）；
2、若拒籤，可以上訴（邀請之前沒有遞交移民申請，不能上訴）；
3.移民局承諾6個月以內審理完畢（從遞交之日算起）。
加拿大EE申請周期：
邀請階段：EE每個月從候選池中篩選2次，達到當次最低邀請分數的人都可以收到邀請。
籤證階段：收到籤證邀請後有60天的期限提交材料。遞交EE籤證申請後，2個月左右會收到取籤信。進入池子的申請人，統一按照下面的規則打分（而不再看進入池子的條件比如聯邦技術移民的分數）。

加拿大緊缺職業類別技術移民類別，是隸屬於加拿大地區省府管轄下的省提名項目。加拿大省提名項目與聯邦移民享有同等的待遇，但由各省負責審批，相對條件較低，而且處理時間更快。目前開放緊缺職業類別技術移民的省府有薩省、新省、安省等。由於該移民類別不需要僱主擔保，是公認的低門檻移民項目。
基本申請條件：
l1. 滿足各省提名的打分要求
l2. 主申請人語言能力CLB4 以上(即G類雅思：聽4.5、讀3.5、寫4、說4)
l3. 大專以上學歷
l4. 在過去10年內至少有1年相關工作經驗（屬於緊缺職業類別）
l5. 有定居資金的財力證明（12,475加幣以上）
l6. 無犯罪記錄
l7. 無重大傳染性疾病
l薩省緊缺職業類別技術移民，無需僱主擔保，但是職業必須符合薩省緊缺職業列表以及其他申請條件。薩省緊缺職業類技術移民分為非EE類別和EE類別。特點是不定期不定量開放名額。
l新省EE緊缺職業類別適合符合新省緊缺職業列表的高技術人才，無需僱主擔保，和薩省緊缺職業類技術移民一樣，不定期不定量開放名額。
l安省EE優才計劃分為優才類別和法語類別，適用於已經註冊EE（FSW和CEC類別），且具備一定的學歷、語言、工作經驗等技能的申請人，安省優才計劃沒有固定的緊缺職業列表。
