Leaders of World Harmony Foundation visited China Friendship and Peace Development Foundation
11月25日，中國友好和平發展基金會理事長李希奎在京會見世界和諧基金會（WHF）亞洲區總部主席、榮氏投資集團有限公司董事局主席榮克敏及一行。
On November 25th, In Beijing, Li Xikui, Chairman of the China Friendship and Peace Development Foundation, met with Hak Man Wing, Chairman of the World Harmony Foundation (WHF) Asia Headquarters and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wing’s Investment Group Co., Ltd., with his partners.
李希奎對榮克敏一行表示歡迎，簡要介紹了WHF基金會的情況，希望雙方保持溝通，探討在文化、青年、公益慈善領域合作的途徑。
Li Xikui welcomed Hak Man Wing and his group and briefly introduced the situation of the foundation. He hoped that both parties would maintain communication and explore ways of cooperation in the fields of culture, youth, and charity.
榮克敏介紹了世界和諧基金會、榮氏投資集團在促進中外交流合作所開展活動的情況。表示願與和平基金會加強合作，為民間友好事業貢獻力量。特別在引進聯合國會議、中美關係改善、推動創新的「桌球加熊貓」民間外交，與臺海二岸和諧、避免插槍走火等項目上進行了深入的探討與交流，中國友好和平發展基金會負責人李桑華與世界和諧基金會聯合國事務特使董川先生會見時在座。
Hak Man Wing introduced the activities carried out by the World Harmony Foundation and Wing’s Investment Group to promote exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries. He expressed his willingness to strengthen cooperation with the foundation and contribute to the cause of civil friendship. In particular, in-depth discussions and exchanges were conducted onUN conferences, the improvement of Sino-US relations, the promotion of innovative "ping pong plus panda" non-governmental diplomacy, harmony with the Taiwan Strait, and avoidance of military confrontation. China Friendship and Peace Development Foundation’s Li Sanghua was present at the meeting with Mr. Dong Chuan, World Harmony Foundation's partner for UN matters.

The China Friendship and Peace Development Foundation is the most important foundation under the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The Friendship Association with Foreign Countries and the World Harmony Foundation have been partners for 23 years. The 100-day countdown from the return of Hong Kong in 1997 and the 60th anniversary of the United Nations in 2005 were mutual activities. Richard Jordan, Chair of the 60th Annual UN DPI/NGO Conference on Climate Change, invited Madam Li Xiaolin to speak at the Conference, which led to the Friendship Assn. bringing a group of 40 participants from China to the next conference. In 2006, he participated in the organization of the 7th United Nations Global Forum on Reinventing Government in Vienna. They supported those from the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake and led the surviving high schools to visit the US Congress. Chinese Americans organized by the Foundation came to Beijing and were received by the Chinese President, the four Politburo Standing Committee members, the Executive Vice Chairman of the National People’s Congress, the Executive Vice Chairman of the CPPCC, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the Beijing Municipal Government, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, and the Ministry of Public Security. The warm reception from six major parts including the Friendship Association with Foreign Countries and the special interviews by The Peoples』 Daily and news broadcasts by CCTV Oriental Space-Time are the highest reception ever received by a non-governmental diplomatic Chinese delegation.
