每年盛夏，高考都會成為中國輿論場熱點話題。今年高考更有著不言而喻的「特殊性」。
在解讀中國工作室邀請下，四位外國知名導演決定合作，分別帶組奔赴北京、南京、上海、鄂爾多斯，共同記錄疫情下以不同形式參與中國高考的個體故事。
這四位導演是日本紀錄片導演竹內亮、英國紀錄片導演羅飛、柬埔寨紀錄片導演潘西西、美國紀錄片導演米切爾·法卡斯。今天推出第一集：《送你去高考》，由日本導演竹內亮（Takeuchi Ryo）執導。
中國有句俗語，「高考就是千軍萬馬過獨木橋」。事實上，對日本民眾來說，高考同樣是一個重要的人生關卡。
一名日本高中生想要考入日本公立大學，需要通過兩次考試。
第一次是每年1月舉辦的全國統一考試，考察國語、數學等基礎學科知識。成績結果公布後，各大學將自行主持第二次考試，針對考生志願和特長，主要測定考生專業知識和思考能力。據日本媒體報導，2020年超過55萬名考生參加考試。
今年2月，日本開始出現新冠病毒感染者。許多大學在入學考試時實施了提供單獨考試場所以及消毒液、佩戴口罩考試等措施，以防止考生被感染。

中國今年的高考是什麼樣子呢？已在中國生活了7年的日本導演竹內亮，被此次疫情下中國社會各界對高考的保障「驚」到。
為保障高考安全，南京市在幾乎所有能設想到的環節進行了周密安排，不少市民也踴躍作為志願者參與其中。竹內亮導演將鏡頭瞄準了南京市民中志願接送考生的「愛心司機」。
竹內亮：他們都是警察嗎？Takeuchi Ryo: Are they all police officers?李宜：對，防止發生一些特殊情況。Li Yi: Yes, they are here in case of emergencies.李宜：現在對於高考的防護比以前多了很多，以前沒有這麼多的警車，現在有特警、公安、消防、救護。Li Yi: Now there are a lot more protective measures than before. Before there were not so many police cars. Now there are SWAT, public security, fire trucks, and ambulances.
李宜選擇參加愛心送考可是有歷史淵源的。
竹內亮：你為什麼報名這次的高考專車工作？Takeuchi Ryo: Why did you volunteer to drive the car serviced for Gaokao examinees?李宜：我自己當年高考的時候是1996年。第二天考試的下午，中午睡過了，我醒來的時候離考試時間還剩20多分鐘了。我們那時候規定是提前5分鐘必須進考場，如果不進考場就視作放棄，然後我是大概最後還有兩分鐘的時間趕到考場，非常危險。所以我也希望現在這麼發達的年代，能夠給考生和他的家長帶來一些幫助。Li Yi: I took Gaokao in 1996. I had to hail a ride myself on the street. On the afternoon of the second day, I overslept. When I woke up, there were only 20 minutes left until the exam time. Back then examinees must arrive five minutes in advance. If you were late, you would be disqualified. In the end, I arrived at the testing site with two minutes left. It was a close call. So now I'm just hoping to do what I can to help the examinees and their parents.
李宜的女兒現在正讀高二，父母為了她的學習，付出了很多，尤其是李宜，他辭掉了需要長期出差的國企銷售工作，選擇成為一名計程車司機，有更多時間陪伴在女兒身邊。
竹內亮：大概每天學習幾個小時？Takeuchi Ryo: So how many hours do you study everyday?李宜女兒：早上到晚上都在學習。Li’s daughter: Morning to night.竹內亮：為了什麼學習呢？Takeuchi Ryo: What are you studying for?李宜女兒：主要是想以後能找到自己喜歡的工作。沒有獲得大學文憑的話，或者沒有學出來的話，你幹的就是你自己不想幹的工作，所以我覺得這樣的事情很可悲。Li’s daughter: I just want to find a job that I enjoy in the future. If you don't get a college diploma, or if you don't learn anything, you might end up doing something you hate. That would be a real shame.
7月6日，高考前一天，李宜載著送考考生的父親提前熟悉路線。
竹內亮：我很好奇，為什麼今天你們倆模擬開車？Takeuchi Ryo: I'm curious, why are you doing a test run today?李宜：我們希望把所有不利因素降到最低。說實話像您這種外國人可能無法理解，我們對高考重視程度，可以說不能再重視，龐先生為了今天走一趟特意請了個假。Li Yi: We hope to minimize all possible risk factors. To be honest, foreigners like you may not understand, the importance of Gaokao. There is nothing more important than Gaokao. For today's test run, Mr. Pang even asked for time off.竹內亮：您特意請了假？Takeuchi Ryo: You took time off just for this?考生家長：對，請了假，因為從我們家到考場有9公裡遠，有很多路況我不太熟悉。Examinee’s Parent: Yes, I took time off. Because the testing site is nine km from our home, I am not familiar with the roads.竹內亮：沒想到對中國的學生家長來說高考那麼重要。Takeuchi Ryo: I did not expect that for Chinese students and parents, Gaokao is so important.
7月7日，高考第一天。李宜早早來到考生家，按照前一天的路線，順利將考生送到了考場。
李宜：說實話我開車快20年了，2002年拿的駕照，沒有哪一次像現在這麼緊張。Li Yi: I have been driving for almost 20 years. I got my driver's license in 2002. Never has it ever been this intense.竹內亮：龐先生現在是什麼樣的心情？Takeuchi Ryo: How are you feeling? Mr. Pang.考生家長：我感覺我的心情取決於他的心情，他比較平靜我也比較平靜，他要緊張我也緊張。Examinee’s Parent: My mood depends on his mood. If he is calm, then I am also calm. If he is nervous, then I am also nervous.
7月8日，高考第二天，由於要舉行英語聽力考試，考場附近的馬路實行了封路措施，防止影響考生。
竹內亮：南師大附中的話已經開始封路了吧？Takeuchi Ryo: They already closed the road that high school.工作人員：對，開始的時候這邊連電動助力車也不讓走，因為他們也會鳴笛。Staff: Yes, they』ve already started to. When they first closed the road, even electric bikes were not allowed, because they make noise.
7月9日，高考最後一天，李宜完成了他的使命，順利完成了此次「高考護航」的任務。
高考結束後，身穿耐克的考生和在考場外穿著旗袍等待孩子「旗開得勝」的家長在考場外緊緊相擁。
正如此次南京愛心送考活動組織人所說，這次高考，除了是一次考試以外，它更大的意義是這個孩子，在這一生中，第一次面臨的人生挑戰。
