相信大部分同學們都已掌握了牛排幾種熟度的表達方式:
rare 生
medium rare 三分熟
medium 五分熟
medium well 七分熟
well done 全熟
但是點雞蛋也同樣有些複雜,主要是外國人比較喜歡吃生嘛。
接下來我們用一段對話來看如何點牛排和雞蛋。
Waiter: Sir, Are you ready to order?
先生,您準備好點餐了嗎?
David: I think so. I'll start with the fried squid, and for main course, I』d like the steak. What does the entree come with?
是的,先要一個炸魷魚,主菜要牛排,你們的主菜裡都帶什麼副菜?
Waiter: Every entree comes with two eggs, salad and oxtail clear soup. And how would you like your steak?
主菜都會有兩個雞蛋,沙拉還有牛尾清湯。您的牛排要幾分熟?
David: Medium, please.
五分熟。
Waiter: Sure sir. How do you want your egg cooked?
您的雞蛋怎麼煮?
David: Sunny-side up please. Oh wait, on second thought, scrambled.
單面煎吧,哦,等一下,還是炒蛋吧。
Waiter: Of course sir. Anything to drink?
好的,要一些喝的嗎?
David: No, that’s all, thank you.
不用了,謝謝你。
scrambled實際就是炒蛋
Sunny side up就是單面煎蛋
Over easy
溏心荷包蛋
Over hard
老煎蛋,全熟
Hard boiled
水煮蛋
