身體不舒服、家裡有急事兒，耽誤了上班上學，你知道到該怎麼請假嗎？英文裡跟請假有關的說法有很多種，一起來看看～

Ask for leave
Leave在這裡不是「離開」，而是「準休假」的意思。你可以說「I have to ask for leave tomorrow morning.」(我明天上午不得不請假了。)，
如果請假不止一天，還可以說「ask for 2 days』leave」(請兩天的假)。

Take off
看到這個詞組，除了常用的「起飛」，請假也可以用它表示！
Mr Lin, I'd like to take two days off to show my Dad around the city.
Lin總，我想請兩天假，帶我爸到處轉轉。

Call in sick
病得實在爬不起來，一點力氣也沒有的時候，要請假？！借用Call in sick：打電話請假
I don't feel well this morning. Perhaps I ought to call in sick.
我今天早上感覺不太舒服，或許我該打電話請個假了。
注意：pull a sickie （裝病）請假
sickie在俚語裡指「病假」，但是pull a sickie意思則是「請假裝病」。
He took/pulled/threw a sickie to go to the football game.（他請假裝病看球去了。）

翹課
cut class
"cut"是「停止」，「無緣無故停止上課」就是「曠課」，是不是很簡單易呢？
If you cut class, it means you skip a school class or a day of school without an excuse.
