「炫耀」的英文怎麼說，像是「炫耀開始健身後的二頭肌」、「炫富」、...等。「炫耀」大家是不是會先想到 show off這個詞組呢？但除了 show off 以外，還有什麼字或詞組可以表達這個意思呢？
除了 show off，你可以用 flex
沒錯，就是用 flex這個字表達「炫耀」，根據英英字典，flex 原本指：to bend an arm, leg, etc. or tighten a muscle（彎曲手臂或腿...等，或是繃緊肌肉），例如：
Sometimes, people flex their muscles when taking a selfie in order to look better in photos.有時候大家會為了拍出比較好看的照片而在自拍前繃緊肌肉。
但在口語上，flex 也有這個意思：to show that you are very proud or happy about something you have done or something you own, usually in a way that annoys people（展示出你因為完成的事或擁有的東西而感到驕傲，通常是以一種讓人覺得煩的方式這麼做）。
看到社交媒體上有人 po 帶有炫耀意味的照片，你可能會跟朋友這樣討論：

或是看到擺弄很久才拍出的肌肉照片，可能會說：

※註：flex someone’s muscles也有延伸意思，用來指 to show your ability to do something, especially your skill or power（展示你做某事的能力，特別是你的技術或權力），例如：
