And the artist drew a tree. It was a lovely tree.
於是畫家就畫了一棵樹。一棵美麗的樹。
Draw me a woman and a man.
給我畫一個女人和一個男人。
And the artist drew a handsome couple.
於是畫家就畫了一對特別帥的夫妻。
Draw us a house，said the couple.
給我們畫座房子吧，這對夫妻說。
And the artist drew a house. It was a strong house.
畫家就畫了一座房子，一座結結實實的房子。
Draw me a dog，said the house.
給我畫只狗吧，房子說。
And the artist drew a dog. It was a big dog.
於是畫家就畫了一隻狗。一隻大狗。
Draw me a cat，said the dog.
給我畫只貓吧，狗說。
Draw me a bird，said the cat.
給我畫只鳥吧，貓說。
Draw me a butterfly，said the bird.
給我畫只蝴蝶吧，小鳥說。
Draw me a flower，said the butterfly.
給我畫朵花兒吧，蝴蝶說。
And the artist drew red and yellow and blue and purple flowers.
於是畫家畫了一朵朵紅色，黃色，藍色，紫色的花兒。
Draw us a cloud，said the flowers.
給我們畫朵雲吧，花兒說。
And the artist drew clouds heavy with rain.

Draw me a star，said the moon.

Down，over，left，and right，Draw a star oh so bright.
向下，向上，向左，再向右。哇，真亮呀。
It was a good star.
好漂亮的星星。
Hold on to me，said the star to the artist.
抓住我，星星對畫家說。
Then，together，they traveled across the night sky.
然後，他們一起飛向了夜空。
