學校和校區介紹
華南理工大學地處粵港澳大灣區、泛珠江三角洲經濟區的核心城市廣州，是直屬教育部的全國重點大學、「雙一流」建設A類高校，現由五山校區、大學城校區、廣州國際校區三個校區組成。學校以工見長，理、工、醫結合，管、經、文、法等多學科協調發展，10個學科領域進入國際高水平學科ESI全球排名前1%，其中，工程學、材料科學、化學、農業科學4個學科領域進入前1‰，入選數在全國高校中並列排名第6位，華南地區首位。學校現有31個博士學位授權一級學科，39個碩士學位授權一級學科，5個博士專業學位授權類別，31個博士後科研流動站， 2009年以來，中國專利獎總數排名全國高校第一。華南理工大學正以雄厚的原始科研創新能力。緊抓「雙一流」建設和廣州國際校區建設的重要契機，向著世界一流大學的目標奮勇前進。
廣州國際校區地處廣州國際創新城南岸核心區，佔地面積約1700畝，一期校園已於2019年9月啟用，2021年將全面建成。校區首開中國部、省、市、校四方共建之先河，依託學校優勢學科資源和理工特色，聚焦國際前沿交叉學科，採取「以我為主、國際協同」的辦學機制，與國(境)外著名高校開展合作。校區定位高水平、國際化、研究型和理工特色，分步建設10個新工科學院，首期重點打造先進材料、生命科學、人工智慧與高端製造、微電子學與固體電子學四大學科群，現已成立生物醫學科學與工程學院、吳賢銘智能工程學院、分子科學與工程學院、微電子學院和多個研究院，增設多個新興學科方向，2018年9月起招收研究生，2019年9月起招收本科生，已形成完整的本、碩、博，在地國際化的人才培養體系。
招聘崗位
廣州國際校區已全面實行以預聘長聘教職制(Tenure Track)為核心的教師聘用制度，教研系列崗位由預聘崗位和長聘崗位組成。
1. 預聘崗位丨助理教授、副教授
(1)具有博士學位;
(2)應聘者學術水平和資歷應達到擔任國際知名高校助理教授或副教授職務的相應標準;
(3)承諾申請通過後全職來校工作，預聘期6年，其中首聘期3年，可續聘3年。
2. 長聘崗位丨副教授、教授
(1)應聘者應在國際一流高校、科研院所擔任副教授以上或相當職務，或具備相當的學術水平;
(2)承諾申請通過後全職來校工作。

Open Faculty Positions | Guangzhou International Campus of SCUT
South China University of Technology (SCUT) is a leading public research-intensive educational institution in China. Located in Guangzhou, a thriving metropolis in the Pan Pearl River Delta Economic Area and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in South China, it is now one of the 36 Class-A universities under the Chinese Ministry of Education (MoE)’s national Double First Class University Plan.
SCUT is a comprehensive research university with particular strengths in engineering, sciences, medicine, business, economics, humanities, law and other disciplines. According to Clarivate Analytics, its number of disciplines listed in the ESI global top 1‰ is tied for 6th place nationwide and ranks 1st in South China.
On March 15, 2017, the agreement of constructing the Guangzhou International Campus(GZIC) of SCUT was signed by four parties: the Ministry of Education (MoE) of the People’s Republic of China, Guangdong provincial government, Guangzhou municipal government and SCUT.
It is the first and only campus that MoE cooperates with the university and the local governments to build a world-class university in cooperation with top overseas universities. The campus aims to drive innovation and serve the country through education and research activities, as well as contribute to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Located on the south bank of Guangzhou International Innovation City, GZIC covers an area of 110 hectares. The first-phase campus has already opened since September 2019, and the remainder is marked for completion by the end of 2021. The total investment of the campus is estimated to exceed 20 billion RMB. Upon completion, the campus will enroll about 12,000 students and employ 1,600 staff.
In line with SCUT’s strength in engineering, the Guangzhou International Campus will focus on disciplines such as intelligent manufacturing, biological medicine, advanced materials, ecological environment, AI and other emerging engineering and interdisciplinary fields.
Ten new engineering schools and a host of cross disciplinary research institutes will be setup on the campus. So far, four schools have been established, namely, the School of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering, the Shien-Ming Wu School of Intelligent Engineering, the School of Molecular Science and Engineering, and the School of Microelectronics.
The schools offer undergraduate, master, and doctoral programs. Enrollment for graduate students has started since September 2018, while undergraduate enrollment began in September 2019 in the fields of biomedical engineering, robotics engineering, intelligent manufacturing engineering, molecular science and engineering, and microelectronics science and engineering.

Position
1. Faculty Position (Tenure Track): Assistant Professor or Associate Professor
(1) Requires a doctoral degree in the relevant discipline.
(2) Applicants should have qualifications and research records that meet the standards for serving as a tenure track assistant professor or associate professor at world-class universities or research institutes.
(3) Applicants are expected to work full-time with a tenure track period of 6 years, consisting of a first employment contract of 3 years and a subsequent renewable one of 3 years. Successful candidates at the rank of associate professor may apply for an early tenure review within the normal window of 6 years.
2. Faculty Position (Tenured): Associate Professor or Full Professor
(1) Applicants have served as a tenured associate professor or in an equivalent position at a world-class university or research institute, or have an academic record of the same standard.
(2) All applicants are expected to work full-time on campus after accepting the offer.
Working Conditions and Living Benefits
1. Working Conditions
(1) Those who have been employed in faculty positions simultaneously qualify as graduate supervisors and will be offered postgraduate enrollment quotas.
(2) Qualified postdoctoral fellows recruited by those who are employed in faculty positions will be paid for by the university for two years.
(3) Start-up research funds and suitable research space will be provided in accordance with the requirements of the position.
(4) The university will support faculty members to apply for various competitive grants from the national government, Guangdong province, Guangzhou municipality and enterprises to obtain scientific research support.
2. Living benefits
(1) Salary: a competitive salary corresponding to the position will be provided comparable to that of top international universities. For applicants who have obtained faculty positions in world-class universities, the salary can be negotiated with reference to the applicant's current salary and benefits.
(2) Housing benefits: on-campus rental apartment (subject to application and approval) and a housing subsidy ranging from RMB 1 million to 10 million may be provided according to relevant policies of Guangdong province and Guangzhou municipality.
(3) Other benefits: according to relevant Chinese policies for non-Chinese citizens, the university will pay the employee component of Chinese social insurance, and help with children’s enrollment in the university’s kindergarten, primary, and secondary schools.
