Are you battle-ready? 你最後一次試穿、檢驗神的全副軍裝是在什麼時候？你預備好作戰了嗎？The day the shepherd boy had a face-off with Goliath, King Saul suggested David should suit up in battle armor and strap on a sword. Saul who was an experienced warrior knew the importance of armor and a weapon. So Saul generously gave David his own battle gear to wear. But it didn’t quite work out. 跟歌利亞對陣的那天，掃羅王建議牧羊男孩兒大衛穿上戰衣，佩上寶劍。掃羅是身經百戰的勇士，他知道盔甲和武器的重要。所以掃羅慷慨地讓大衛穿戴自己的戰衣。但是行不通。Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.

撒母耳記上17:38-40In the end, David used the armor and weapon that he had been using his whole life. His weapons were faith in God and his sling. He had practiced using that sling to fend off bears and lions for years and his faith was robust. You must be familiar with it and confident to use it. Paul says that if you are going to take your stand against the enemy, you need to put on your armor and have your weapon in your hand. 保羅說如果要在敵人面前站立得穩，你需要身穿戰衣並手握武器。Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. John 8:44b NIV…他從起初是殺人的，不守真理，因他心裡沒有真理。他說謊是出於自己；因他本來是說謊的，也是說謊之人的父。
約翰福音8:44下Therefore to combat an enemy who is full of lies, you must be surrounded by God’s truth. Do you know the truth? Can you discern between God’s truth and Satan’s lies? The Breastplate of RighteousnessThe breastplate of the armor protects all of your vital organs. The righteousness that protects your heart from Satan’s deadly jabs is the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Your own righteousness is a flimsy cover that will do nothing to protect you. How do you acquire this life-protecting righteousness? Through faith in Jesus Christ. 盔甲上的護心鏡保護著所有重要的內臟器官。基督耶穌的公義可以保護你的心免於遭受撒旦致命的襲擊。你自己的義是脆弱的遮蓋，根本不能保護你。如何得到保護生命的公義呢？藉者相信耶穌。And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.

Shoes of the Gospel of PeaceIn the time of the Apostle Paul, the Roman army traveled by foot. A Roman soldier was trained to march over 30 kilometers every day carrying all of his gear. Without good shoes, this mobile army would be defeated even before they reached the battlefield. If your feet are not protected and supported, you will not be able to get very far in your spiritual battle. 在使徒保羅的時代，羅馬軍隊步行行軍。羅馬士兵受訓一天內可以攜帶全部裝備行軍30公裡。若沒有結實耐用的鞋子，這支四處出擊的軍隊在到達戰場前就已經被打敗了。在屬靈爭戰中，若腳沒有得到保護和支撐，那是不能堅持多久的。 Get ready to move with these special shoes. The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ that brings peace with God. Without the peace that comes from the good news, we are defeated even before we arrive to the battle. When we have God’s peace we can take yet another step forward and bring the peace of Jesus wherever we place our feet. 預備好穿上這特殊的鞋子四處走動。福音是耶穌基督的好消息，它帶來神的平安。如果沒有這個好消息帶來的平安，在開始戰鬥之前我們就已經被打敗了。擁有神的平安，我們就可以再向前邁一步，把耶穌的平安帶往所到之處。The more you use your shield, the more agile you will become and more able to swiftly and strategically raise it to stop the flaming darts of the enemy. When you stand together with other Christians in faith, you join your shields to make an impenetrable wall of faith. You can practice using your shield on a daily basis by trusting in God’s protection in every situation and not depending on your own strength and abilities. Then when the big battles come, you will be experienced in raising the shield of faith. The larger your faith, the more courage you will have to move forward in the battle. 越多使用藤牌，你就越能迅速和靈活地舉起它來抵擋敵人的火箭。若跟其他基督徒憑信站立在一起，你們的藤牌就連結在一起形成了一堵堅不可摧的信心之牆。藉著在所有境況中信靠神的保護而不是依靠自己的力量和能力，你可以每天練習使用信心的藤牌。那麼，大的爭戰來臨時，你就能老練地舉起信心的藤牌了。信心越大，你就越能在戰鬥中勇往直前。The helmet has got to be one of the most important pieces of armor you will wear. Even in our modern times we are accustomed to wearing helmets on construction sites, riding motorbikes and even riding bicycles. A blow to the head will cause great damage to the brain, if not death. Salvation in Jesus Christ has saved your spiritual life. The helmet of salvation will continue to protect your mind which is one of your prime battlefields. Daily put on the helmet of salvation to protect your mind from ungodly beliefs, accusations from the enemy and tempting thoughts. Remind yourself that you have been saved by Jesus and you now have the mind of Christ. 頭盔一定是你所穿戴的盔甲中最重要的一件。就算是在現代，我們也還是習慣在建築工地、在騎摩託車、甚至在騎自行車時都帶上頭盔。對頭部的撞擊即便不會致人死亡，也會嚴重損害大腦。耶穌基督的救贖拯救了你的屬靈生命。救恩的頭盔也會持續保護你的心思意念----這是你主要的戰場。要每天帶上救恩的頭盔來保護你的心遠離不敬虔的信念、敵人的控告和試探人的想法。提醒自己已經蒙耶穌救贖，現在擁有基督的心了。Your only weapon to strike with is the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. The Bible says that God’s Word is sharper than a double-edged sword. When coming face to face with your enemy, you must engage in hand to hand combat on your knees with your Bible open before you. In whatever battle you are fighting today, proclaim God’s word out loud and believe that it is true. Proclaim God’s protection, provision and power in your life and the life of your loved ones. Proclaim Christ crucified for the forgiveness of your sins and the healing of your diseases. Proclaim the power of our risen Savior Jesus Christ and his victory over Satan. The sword of the spirit is a weapon that will demolish Satan’s strongholds and any work of Satan that is against the work of God. 你唯一用來進攻的武器是聖靈的寶劍，也就是神的話。聖經說神的話比兩刃的劍都要鋒利。跟敵人面對面進行肉搏戰時，你必須要打開聖經，屈膝在神面前。今天，無論你有怎樣的爭戰，大聲宣告神的話語，相信那它就是真實的。在你和所愛的人的生命中宣告神的保護、供應和能力。宣告為了赦免你的罪和醫治你的疾病，基督已經被釘在十字架上。宣告我們已經復活的救主耶穌基督的大能和祂已經戰勝撒旦。聖靈的寶劍是武器，可以攻破撒旦的堅固營壘，可以攻破撒旦抵擋神的任何工作。For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Get comfortable and skilled in God’s armorPractice with your sword every day. Develop the skills to properly handle the Word of God in every situation and stand and watch the Lord Almighty fight for you. Don’t wait until battle day to pull out your armor. You might find the armor rusty, ill-fitting and your body too weak to wear and use it properly. Be like young David who daily used his faith and his sling to protect his flock of sheep from bears and lions. Little did he know that he was preparing for a much bigger battle against Goliath. David grew into a mighty warrior leading the armies of Israel into victory after victory.
