some與time 搭配的幾個單詞或是詞組之間的區別

time 作為不可數名詞的時候表示時間，作為可數名詞的時候表示次數。

一、sometime

Sometime 作為副詞的時候，表示某一個不太確切、沒法確定的某個時間，既可以指過去也可以指將來，例如：

過去：

I saw him sometime last summer.

我去年夏天什麼時候見過他。

將來：

Give me a call sometime , and we』ll have coffee.

有空給我打個電話，我們喝杯咖啡。

We』ll announce a release date sometime soon.

我們很快就會宣布發布日期。

Tony needs to stop by the bank sometime today.

託尼今天某個時候需要去銀行看看。

Sometime 作為形容詞的時候，表示「曾經的、一度的」，例如：

He was sometime basketball player at the university.

他曾經是學校的籃球運動員。

Albert, a sometime cab driver, now flies airplanes for a living.

阿爾伯特以前是計程車司機，現在以駕駛飛機為生。

二、Some time

Some time 作為名詞詞組，time 表示時間，some time 表示一段時間，例如：

For some time , humans have known that the world is round.

一段時間以來，人類都知道世界是圓的。

It will take some time to finish the project today.

今天完成這個項目需要一些時間。

I admit I was foxed for some time.

我承認我一度被難住了。

三、Sometimes

Sometimes 是這幾個詞裡面最常用的，表示有時、時而，相當於 occasionally 或 now and then，例如：

Sometimes I just don’t understand what that man is saying.

有時候我就是不明白那個人在說什麼。

English grammar sometimes follows its own rules, and sometimes it doesn’t.

英語語法有時遵循自己的規則，有時卻不遵循。

Everybody hurts sometimes .

每個人有時都會受傷。

I like to be on my own sometimes.

有時候我喜歡一個人待著。

s四、Some times

Some times 裡的 time 表示次數，注意跟 some time 做區別，some times表示幾次、好幾次，例如：

Please repeat some times.

請重複多次。

They have already meteachother some times this year.

他們今年已經見過好幾次面了。

The newsreel has been shown on TV some times.

這個新聞片在電視上播了好幾次了。
