1. bamboozle 欺騙，哄騙
He bamboozled me into believing that he'd lost all his money. 他欺騙我讓我相信他把錢全丟光了。
2. beguile(尤指用花言巧語)欺騙，哄騙
He had the face to beguile his best friend into buying his house at a high price. 他竟然有臉欺騙他最要好的朋友以高價買了他的住宅。
3. cajole(用甜言蜜語)哄騙，勸誘
That big boy is always cajoling other children into doing things for him. 那個大男孩老是哄騙別的孩子為他做事。
4. deceive 欺騙，欺詐
He deceived her into thinking he could drive a car. 他騙她，使她相信他會開汽車。
They deceived the old man into signing the papers. 他們騙那個老人在文件上簽了字。
5. decoy 用誘餌誘騙
He was decoyed by a false message into entering enemy territory. 他被假情報誘騙進入敵區。
6. delude 欺騙，哄騙
That new job title is just a way of deluding her into thinking she’s been promoted. 那個新的職位頭銜只是騙她相信自己已被提升的一種手段而已。
7. dupe 欺騙，哄騙
Consumers are being duped into buying faulty electronic goods. 消費者經常受騙購買有毛病的電子產品。
8. fool 欺騙，哄騙
He has fooled a lot of people into believing that he is an honest statesman. 他欺騙了很多人，使他們以為他是一個正直的政治家。
9. hoax(開玩笑地)騙，作弄
I was hoaxed into believing their story. 我上了當，還以為他們的玩笑是真的呢。
10. hoodwink 欺騙，欺詐
I was hoodwinked into buying fake jewels. 我受騙買了假珠寶。
11. inveigle 誘惑，哄騙
He inveigled them into buying a new car，even though they didn’t really want one. 他誘惑他們買了一輛新汽車，其實他們並不真正需要。
12. jockey(用巧妙的方法或詭計)欺騙，誘使
Do you think you can jockey them into accepting our offer? 你覺得能說服他們接受我們的提議嗎?
13. mislead 欺騙，誤導
Her innocent expression misled me into trusting her. 她天真無邪的表情使得我誤信了她。
14. trap 誘騙，誘使
I was trapped into signing a confession. 我被誘騙在供詞上簽了字。
15. wheedle(用討好或奉承的手法)勸誘
The children wheedled me into letting them go to the film. 孩子們把我哄得同意讓他們去看電影了。
