不知你是否喜歡參觀博物館（museum）？每個國家都有自己的博物館，裡面陳列（display）著代表本國文化與神奇歷史的藝術品（artworks），其中的故事一定會令你著迷，今天和老師一起走進博物館，開啟一段英語奇妙之旅吧。
最常見的博物館大致可以分為三種類型：
歷史博物館（history museum），指提供歷史、動態、文物藏品、文物照片和專業書籍介紹的博物館。我國著名的歷史博物館是中國國家博物館（National Museum of China）。
藝術博物館（art museum），藝術博物館以收藏繪畫、書法、珠寶、織繡、建築等藝術品為主。著名的藝術博物館有羅浮宮（The Louvre Museum）、英國國家美術館（The National Gallery）、泰特美術館（Tate Modern and Tate Britain）等。
自然博物館（natural museum），即在自然志方面收藏很充實的博物館。收藏、製作和陳列天文、地質、植物、動物、古生物和人類等方面具有歷史意義的標本，供科學研究和文化教育。世界上著名的自然博物館如加拿大自然博物館（Canadian Museum of Nature）、英國自然歷史博物館（Natural History Museum）等。
另外，還有軍事博物館（military museum）、科技博物館（Science museum）……從其他性質來分，還有公立博物館（public museum）、私立博物館（private museum）。
