Trinidad and Tobago and China closer than ever before
Trinidad and Tobago and China are now closer than ever before, given the recent signing of an Interline E-ticketing Agreement between Caribbean Airlines and Hainan Airlines. This follows the Official Visit of Dr. the Honourable Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, to the People’s Republic of China from May 14th to May 19th 2018. One member of the delegation during the historic visit was Mr. S. Ronnie Mohammed, Chairman of Caribbean Airlines Limited (CAL) who met with Hainan Airlines at that time.

The interline E-ticketing agreement allows both airlines to facilitate and accept each other’s tickets and bookings. Mr. Mohammed stated, 「Caribbean Airlines is delighted that one of the key objectives of the Official Visit to China is being realized. Two of the major initiatives were to improve tourism and air service agreements, and we are encouraged by this development.」
