學習英語若不存在美式英語和英式英語的區別，那麼相對來說學英語就簡單一點，跟 practice 和 practise 的區別有點類似，airplane 和 aeroplane 的區別主要是美式英語和英式英語的區別，它們都意為「飛機」。
一、airplane 是美式英語的首選拼寫，例如：
Airplane travel is nature's way of making you look like your passport photo.
飛機旅行是自然的方式，它使你看起來像你的護照照片。
She has her own private airplane.
她有自己的私人飛機。
The new airplane flies at twice the speed of sound.

二、aeroplane 是英式英語的首選拼寫，例如：
To be honest, the thought of jumping out of a moving aeroplane makes my hair stand on end.

Anything to do with aeroplanes and flying fascinates him.
任何與飛機和飛行有關的事都使他著迷。
Model aeroplanes come in pieces which you have to put together.

The aeroplane had to make a forced landing because one of the engines cut out.

三、兩者的區別
