ENN Zhoushan 2nd Phase to Run by Feb 2021
By the end of September, ENN Zhoushan Terminal’s construction site reported 88% of the engineering progress, and the inner installation of the two tanks has been completed. With the further air tightness test and matched pipe installation, the two new 160,000cbm tanks are expected to run by February 2021, pushing the receiving capacity of the terminal up to 5 million tons per annual.
ENN Zhoushan Terminal, located in East China’s Zhoushan Islands, was the first full-scale LNG receiving terminal in service owned by non-NOC company in China. It was designed into three construction phases. The first phase was put into operation from 2018, with a 266,500 cbm LNGC birth, two 160,000 cbm LNG storage tanks. The regas facility was put into use from August 2020 together with the under-sea pipeline connecting to the mainland, and the output capacity of the terminal reached 22 mcm/d regas and 10,000 t/d truck loading. The second phase expansion was started right after the commissioning of the terminal, including two 160,000 cbm LNG storage tanks, and the third phase was still in early planning.
