The film opened to 9.9 points out of 10, but has now fallen slightly to a stable 9.8 points. Following the hits Blue Planet II and Dynasties, released in 2017 and 2018 respectively, the new documentary has enhanced BBC's status as frontrunner in the nature documentary field.
