Welcome to Lanzhou. Once your arrival at Lanzhong Zhongchuan Airport or Lanzhou Train Station, you will be pick up by your local guide, then be escorted to your hotel in a private vehicle. Liujiaxia Dam Boating & Bingling Temple Grottoes
After breakfast, you』ll drive to visit the Bingling Temple Grottoes. Firstly, you will arrive at Liujiaxia Dam which is a major hydroelectric dam on the upper Yellow River. You will take a boat on the dam and enjoy the magnificent rock cliffs along the river! The boat will take you to the Bingling Temple Grottoes. it is one of China's big ancient Buddhist temple complexes with an array of statuary and frescoes dating from about AD 420 to the Ming Dynasty. The statues date from various dynastic eras and show the differing cultures, clothing and physical features of the worshipped gods. The earliest temples are at the highest elevation and have characteristic Indian-style features and artistic style. After fully explore the precious cultural relics, you'll drive to Xiahe.

Day 3: Xiahe - Songke Grassland - Xiahe
Legendary Labrang Monastery & Riding horses on the vast grassland
After breakfast, you will drive to explore the Labrang Monastery. Labrang Monastery is one of the six great monasteries of the Geluk (Yellow Hat) school of Tibetan Buddhism. It is Tibetan Buddhism's most important monastery town outside the Tibetan Autonomous Region. The monastery combines multiple architectural styles including traditional Indian Vihara and Tibetan styles, to create a beautiful and unique compound.
After lunch, you will drive to visit the Songke Grassland. As a part of Dajiutan Prairie, Sangke Grassland is at an average sea level of above 3000 meters and surrounded by mountains. On this extensive grassland, not only grass germinates and wild flowers blossom but also a river named Daxia River runs from south to north and water plants grow luxuriantly. Under the blue sky there, the green grassland is studded with flocks and herds in groups; smoke curls up from tents; pastoral songs flutter on horsebacks... which form a natural picture of rural scenery and perfectly present the genuine daily life of the Zang herdsmen.

Day 4: Xiahe - Hezuo - Gahai Lake – Langmusi (190km in total)
Anduo Hezuo Milarepa Buddhist Monastery & beautiful wetland at Gahai Lake
After breakfast, you』ll drive to Hezuo. You』ll first visit the Anduo Hezuo Milarepa Buddhist Monastery, a towering nine-storey layer cake of a temple both deeply steeped in mystery and unusual in the Tibetan world as different spiritual leaders from varying sects are worshipped on each floor. The exterior is quite modern, but the interior conveys a seasoned, creaky and musty sense of age coupled with a powerful sense of devotion from the worshippers who flock here and prostrate themselves at the main gate.
After visiting the monastery, you'll get on the road again and drive pass the Gahai Lake - a plateau lake with an altitude of 3479.7 meters. It is the habitat and breeding place for a great number of rare migrant birds. You'll take a short visit and enjoy the scenery from a distance. Then you'll drive to Langmusi and staying for the night.

Day 5: Langmusi – Zhagana – Langmusi
Full day exploring The Shambhala Kingdom Zhagana
After breakfast, you'll drive to visit the surreal world of Zhagana, a village in the northwest of Diebu County of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The major landform in Zhagana is ancient glacial landform. With an average altitude of 3,200 meters, Zhagana means 「Rock Box」 in Tibetan language, which is fitting as it is surrounded by large rocky spires on all sides. Lush, verdant villages fill the space between the mountains. The stunning landscape, primitive forest, local Tibetan villages and unique culture will make you feel you never want to leave.
After full day spent in Zhagana, you』ll drive back to Langmusi and staying for the night.

Day 6: Langmusi – Lanzhou City (400km in total)
Enjoy the beautiful Langmusi town
Enjoy a leisure morning at Langmusi. Langmusi is a very small town on the junction of Gansu and Sichuan Province - a half in Gansu and a half in Sichuan. Each part has a Tibetan monastery. There is also an Islamic moque located between these two Tibetan monasteries. The landscape here is fascinating - red mountain, beautiful valley, blue sky, forests, flowers, temples...There are also many interesting activities to do here, you can hike in the valley, go see the local horse racing, or ride a horse to experience the local nomadic life. And, watch the mysterious Sky Burial from a distance, a funeral practice in which a human corpse is placed on a mountaintop to decompose while exposed to the elements or to be eaten by scavenging animals, especially carrion birds. It is a specific type of the general practice of excarnation.
After lunch, you'll drive back to Lanzhou (5h).

Day 7: Lanzhou departure
Today is for departure. Your local tour guide will escort you to the Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport. Your Gannan tour ends here.

About Altitude
The altitude in Gannan area is around 3,000m on average (areas over 2700m belongs to high-altitude area), which means you need to get prepared for high-altitude sickness. But don't panic, 3000m is still relatively low and most people will get used to it after 1 or 2 days. But still, remember to prepare some medicines like "Hongjingtian(紅景天)" just in case.

早餐後乘車前往永靖縣炳林寺石窟參觀（行駛1小時，水庫乘船：大船4小時，快艇2小時，遊覽時間2小時）。炳靈寺最早叫「唐述窟」，是羌語「鬼窟」之意。後歷有龍興寺、靈巖寺之稱。明永樂年後，取藏語「十萬佛」之譯音，稱作「炳靈寺」或「冰靈寺」之名。炳靈寺創建於西秦，歷經北魏、西魏、北周、隋、唐、元、明、清各代擴建，距今已有1600多年歷史。參觀結束後乘車前往夏河縣，抵達後入住酒店。

早起從夏河出發，乘車2.5小時左右到達尕海湖，尕海湖是甘南第一大淡水湖，是青藏高原東部的一塊重要溼地，被譽為高原上的一顆明珠，1982年被評為省級候鳥自然保護區。尕海湖所在的地域，藏胞稱之為「措寧」就是「犛牛走來走去的地方」。尕海湖水草豐茂，許多南遷北返的珍稀鳥類在此落腳和繁殖，黑頸鶴，灰鶴，天鵝等珍禽遍布湖邊草灘。沿著棧道漫步尕海溼地，心曠神怡。小鎮午餐後，車程1小時左右前往號稱「東方小瑞士」的郎木寺,郎木寺並不是一座寺院，而是一個小鎮的名字，地跨四川甘肅兩省，被譽為「東方小瑞士」 。蜿蜒的白龍江將小鎮一分為二，清真寺，喇嘛寺水相望。兩岸淳樸的居民在晨鐘暮鼓裡過著平靜安穩的生活。這裡風光秀美，草原山林環繞，日早間的晨霧，傍晚的夕照給這座寧靜的小鎮更添瑰麗，晚上在當地酒吧小酌一杯也是不錯的選擇
