Via Ferrata is a steel cable that runs along a route and fixed to the rock, as well as additional climbing aids such as iron rungs (stemples), pegs, carved steps, and even ladders and bridges.
Via Ferrata allows otherwise dangerous routes to be undertaken without the risks or the need for climbing equipment such as ropes.
They offer inexperienced people (like us haha) a means of enjoying dramatic positions and accessing difficult peaks, normally reserved to professional climbers.
The difficulty is lower than Line A. Mostly translational motion. Since Line B has big verticle drop and pretty long distance, climbers need to have good endurance and strength in arms part. Magnificent view!
Yandang Mt Via Ferrata, Yueqing, Wenzhou
Yandang Mountain Via Ferrata is one of China's top 10 must-see scenic spots and also a National 5A scenic resort.
Yandang is famous for its unique and splendid mountainous scenery. The place also features volcanic rocks, deep valleys, precipitous peaks, mysterious caves, and strange rock formations.
There is a lake at the top of the mountain. The air is fresh and cool, simply breathtaking!
Meeting and drop-off Point: Zhongshan Park Metro Station Exit 8 of Line 2.
