1. China's growth forecast at 6.1 pct for 2020
The annual growth rate of China's economy is projected at 6.1 percent, according to a report by the Bank of China (BOC).
"The overall verdict is cautiously optimistic," the BOC Research Institute said in the Report on Economic and Financial Outlook for 2020.
China is facing growing complexities with more risks and challenges from both home and abroad, said the report.
In terms of pro-growth policies, the report underscored the importance of policies to further stabilize the economy. (Xinhua)

11月28日,中國銀行研究院在北京發布《2020年度經濟金融展望報告》。
《報告》認為,2019年中國全年GDP增長約為6.1%左右。展望2020年,中國經濟面臨的風險和挑戰增多,經濟發展面臨的內外部環境更趨複雜,總體判斷「謹慎樂觀」。
《報告》認為,為穩定中國經濟增長,建議進一步對經濟政策做出調整。
2. Chinese ambassador visits Huawei CFO, urges Canada to 'redress mistake'
Chinese Ambassador to Canada Cong Peiwu Thursday visited Meng Wanzhou, the chief financial officer of Chinese tech giant Huawei, in Vancouver and urged Ottawa to correct its mistake and take measures to solve the issue as soon as possible, the embassy said on Friday.
The Chinese government is determined to protect the just and legitimate rights and interests of its citizens and enterprises, stressed the ambassador.
Meng was arrested on December 1, 2018 at Vancouver's airport at the request of the United States, which is seeking her extradition on fraud charges. (CGTN)

3. Dutch police arrest suspect in stabbing of 3 teens
Dutch police arrested a 35-year-old homeless man Saturday on suspicion of stabbing three teens on a street in The Hague that was crowded with Black Friday shoppers.
The man, whose identity wasn’t released, was detained in The Hague early Saturday evening and taken to a police station for questioning, police spokeswoman Marije Kuiper said.
The victims, two 15-year-old girls and a 13-year-old boy, were treated in a hospital and released late Friday.
Dutch police say the motive for the stabbing remains unknown. (AP)
荷蘭警方抓獲海牙刺殺案嫌疑人
11月29日感恩節「黑色星期五」到來之際,荷蘭城市海牙發生行兇事件,造成3名青少年被刺傷。30日上午,荷蘭警方宣布逮捕了一名35歲的男性嫌疑人。
當地警方發言人表示,該嫌疑人為流浪漢,身份尚未公布。該案犯已被送往警局接受問詢。

4. Vietnam receives 23 remains of trafficking victims
The remains of 23 Vietnamese who died while being smuggled in a truck to England last month were repatriated to their home country on Saturday.
39 bodies were found Oct. 23 in the English town of Grays, east of London. Police said the victims were aged between 15 and 44. While no cause of death has been officially established, the circumstances suggested asphyxiation.
An initial batch of 16 bodies were handed over to their families on Wednesday. (AP)

11月30日,英國倫敦「死亡貨車」案最後23名遇難者的遺體於當日凌晨抵達越南。
10月23日,英國警方在埃塞克斯郡一個工業園區的貨櫃貨車裡發現39具越南籍移民的屍體。英國警方稱,死者年齡最小15歲,最大44歲。死因目前尚未有定論,但有可能是因為窒息。
27日,首批16具遇難者遺體已被先行送往越南,並由家屬領回。
5. Intel accuses Qualcomm of undermining modem chip market opportunities
Leading US chip manufacturer Intel Corporation on Friday blamed Qualcomm for its being denied opportunities in the modem chip market.
Intel executive vice president and general counsel Steven Rodgers said the company filed an Amicus brief supporting the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) that launched an anti-trust probe against Qualcomm for unfair business behavior.
Rodgers said that Intel was one of the long list of Qualcomm's competitors "it forced out of the modem chip market." (Xinhua)

6. Fire damages buildings in Austria's UNESCO heritage site, one injured
A fire that broke out on Saturday morning damaged several buildings in Austria's UNESCO heritage site Hallstatt and injured one firefighter.
The fire is said to have spread from a wooden hut on the lakeshore to other huts and finally to two buildings across the street. Since the town center consists mostly of old wooden houses, the danger of fire spreading is especially great.
Hallstatt is a salt-mining town dating back to the late Bronze Age, and has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997. (Xinhua)
奧地利著名旅遊勝地哈爾施塔特小鎮遭遇火災 一人受傷
11月30日上午,入選聯合國教科文組織世界遺產名錄的奧地利哈爾施塔特小鎮遭遇火災, 造成數棟建築被燒毀,一名消防員受傷。
據悉,大火從湖岸的一間木屋燃起,之後蔓延到其他小屋,隨後點燃了馬路對面的兩座建築物。哈爾施塔特小鎮的建築主要由老式木製房屋組成,因此火災風險極高。
哈爾施塔特小鎮歷史悠久,盛產礦鹽,其歷史可以追溯到青銅器時代。1997年被列入聯合國教科文組織世界遺產名錄。
7. 30th Southeast Asian Games open in the Philippines
The 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games kick-started on Saturday evening in northern Philippines Bulacan province. Athletes from 11 countries will compete for 530 event medals in 56 sports.
Some 8,750 athletes from the 10 members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as well as Timor-Leste will see action in 39 venues across Metro Manila, Subic, New Clark City and Angeles, among other cities on the country's main Luzon island.
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte officially declared the opening of the games. (Xinhua)
