近日,南開大學材料科學與工程學院周震教授加入英國皇家化學會出版的材料化學領域著名期刊 Journal of Materials Chemistry A,成為該刊的新任副主編 (Associate editor)。
1994 年本科畢業於南開大學,獲理學學士學位;1999 年畢業於南開大學,獲得理學博士學位,同年留校任講師。2001-2005 年赴日本名古屋大學從事日本學術振興會 (JSPS) 等機構資助的博士後研究。2005 年 11 月作為副教授(引進人才)回到南開大學化學學院繼續從事教學科研工作。2010 年底晉升教授,2011 年起任博士生導師。2012 年被任命為南開大學分子科學計算中心主任。2014 年被任命為南開大學新能源材料化學研究所所長。2015 年起為南開大學材料科學與工程學院教授、博士生導師。
主要研究興趣是通過將高性能計算與實驗相結合設計納米結構新能源材料及能源存儲體系。2014-2017 年連續四年入圍愛思唯爾中國高被引學者榜。2008 年入選教育部「新世紀優秀人才支持計劃」。2014 年獲得天津市自然科學二等獎(第一完成人)。2016 年入選天津市創新人才推進計劃中青年科技創新領軍人才。2017 年獲得 Prof. Rudolph A. Marcus Award 獎。中國電子學會化學與物理電源技術分會第八屆委員會委員。

Scope
The journal's scope is intentionally broad, covering all aspects of the production of materials or the properties or applications of materials related to energy storage and conversion, sustainability or living.
Submissions to the journal should contain chemistry in a materials context and can be theoretical and/or experimental studies. The novelty and advance should be focused on either the chemistry used to produce the materials, or on the properties or applications of the materials produced. Work submitted that is outside of these criteria will not usually be considered for publication.
