初中英語中的介詞，是中學英語學習的難點，也是經常出現在考試卷中的考點，今天說的三個介詞，都有「通過、穿過」的意思，但是總是被混淆。
through
表示「穿過」的時候，如果使用 through，表示「從內部穿過」，往往是穿過一個有「框」的東西，比如門窗、樹林、隧道等等。例如：
The thieves climbed into the kitchen through the window. 賊們通過窗戶翻進了廚房。
After walking through the forest, they arrived at the small village. 穿過森林，他們到了那個小山村。
across
使用 across 表示「穿過」的時候，往往是從上面跨過，比如跑過草地、跨過馬路等等，例如：
The dog is running across the grass after the cat. 那隻狗正穿過草地追那隻貓咪。
The children are helping the grandpa across the road. 孩子們正幫助哪位老爺爺過馬路。
over
在表示「從……上面」穿過的時候，across 和 over 可以互換，但是表示「翻過」的時候，只用 over，例如：
The Sawyers are walking over the bridge. 索耶一家正在過橋。
The dog jumped over the fence into the garden. 那條狗跳過了籬笆進入了花園。
past
past 表示「從旁邊經過」，可以和含有動詞 pass 的句子替換，例如：
A girl went past me in a hurry. 一個女孩匆匆忙忙從我身邊走過。
A girl passed me in a hurry. 一個女孩從我身邊匆匆經過。
英語中的很多介詞都有動態含義，當然是譯成漢語之後，因為漢語多用動詞，而英語多用介詞。
