在語言裡，想要表達同一意思，除了同義詞互換，有時候句型也可以多變。
前面剛為大家總結過得too…to…句型：
too……to……結構用法，都是「太……不……」的意思嗎
有部分就可以用so…that…句型表達，意思沒有什麼不同。
我累得走不動了。
I was too exhausted to walk.
I was so exhausted that I couldn't walk.
茶太燙了，不能喝。
The tea was too hot to drink.
The tea was so hot that I couldn't drink it.
老師講得太快，聽不懂。
The teacher spoke too fast to be understood.
The teacher spoke so fast that he couldn't be understood.
天太冷了，我們不能在河裡遊泳。
It's too cold for us to swim in the river.
It's so cold that we couldn't swim in the river.
從以上例句我們可以發現，too…to…句型，都可以轉換成so… that…句型。
但有一個特點：that從句裡都是否定句。
因此，so…that…句型裡that從句是否定句可以轉換成too…to…句型，肯定句則不可以：
她氣得把兒子的練習本撕的粉碎。
She was so angry that she tore her son’s exercise book into pieces.
不能說
She was too angry to tear her son’s exercise book into pieces.
他學習很努力，數學考試得了A。
He worked so hard that he got an A in Maths exam.
不能說：
He worked too hard to get an A Maths exam.
