不平凡的2020年即將劃上句點，而新的一年將滿載新的憧憬與希望。
A remarkable year comes to an end, and with the new year come new hopes and new aspirations.
或許大家已經制定了自己的新年計劃。請不要忘記：對於新的一年，在很大程度上，我們賦予其什麼，它就將回饋我們什麼。眾志成城、彼此關愛，在關鍵時刻展現勇氣與韌性——我們以這樣的方式書寫了西家人的2020，這是平凡人勠力同心，成就不凡的動人故事。而正是憑著這樣的堅韌和毅力，我們將在2021年續寫精彩。
I guess some of you have made your New Year’s resolutions. Don’t forget what the New Year brings to us depends a great deal on what we bring to the New Year. Pulling together, caring for each other, and showing courage and resilience when it counts – that is the way we wrote our story in 2020, a story of ordinary people coming together to make an extraordinary difference. And it is exactly all those grit and guts that will continue to define our story in 2021.
儘管面臨持續的疫情形勢以及諸多不確定性，但可以確定的是，2021意味著激動人心的新篇章：追求可持續發展，釋放西門子生態圈的力量，以博大精深，共創每一天。這並非僅僅關乎數位化工業、智能基礎設施、交通、Advanta或其他任何一支團隊，而是關乎凝聚我們所有人的力量！
For sure, despite prolonged virus situation and all the uncertainties, 2021 means a new and exciting chapter, a chapter in which we pursue sustainability, make the best of our Siemens ecosystem, and transform the everyday. This is not just about DI, SI, Mobility, Advanta or any single team. It’s about all of us working together to make it happen!
朝著這一方向，我們的業務部門正以切實舉措落實新的貼近市場發展戰略。在同事們身上，我也感受到大家不變的熱忱與專注。最近一位同事的評論讓我深受感動。兩周前，這位同事在線上觀看了中國區維爾納•馮•西門子獎頒獎典禮之後留言道：「我總是很驕傲地告訴別人我來自西門子，因為這是一家擁有遠大使命的公司。」
In doing so, our businesses are already turning new go-to-market strategies into tangible actions. I also see the same passion and dedication in our colleagues. One piece of comment from our people touched me recently. A colleague watched webcast of the Werner von Siemens Award Ceremony China two weeks ago and left a comment: 「I will always be proud to tell people that I’m from Siemens because this is a company with great purpose.」
是的，無論我們從事什麼工作，或身在任何崗位，每個人都能真正踐行公司的宗旨：以提升客戶競爭力為中心；賦能員工和夥伴；創造下一代技術；追求突破與成長。請大家再接再厲，先客戶之想而想，先客戶之需而動，加速創新，提高效率，創造更大的價值。請記住：奮發引領不畏年少，勤學好問不懼年長。正是因為你們持續靈活應變、勇於嘗新，公司才得以始終開拓進取、堅定向前。
Yes, no matter what we do or what position we are in, every one of us can show what we truly stand for: put customer impact at the core; empower people; create technology with purpose and embrace a growth mindset. Keep thinking ahead of customers and innovating faster to deliver more with less. Just remember: You are never too young to lead or too old to learn. It’s your motivation to continuously adapt and experiment that will keep us going from strength to strength.

新的一年開啟之際，我們滿懷期待，憧憬著新的機遇和新的發展。在此刻以及未來的每一天，讓我們攜起手來，讓公司充滿活力與韌性。我已經在西門子工作30年了。我和許多同事一樣，對公司有著強烈的歸屬感。西門子中國團隊在我心裡就如同一個溫暖的大家庭。我相信，當你迎來在西門子的10周年、20周年乃至30周年，你也將為我們曾經共同擁有的所有美好回憶而倍感驕傲。
As we look ahead to a year of new opportunities and progress, let’s come together to fill our company with vitality and resilience – today and every day. I have worked at Siemens for 30 years. Like many of you, I feel strong attachment to our company, and I think of Team China deep in my heart as a big family. I believe some day when you reach your 10th, 20th or even 30th anniversary at Siemens, you will also take pride in all the memories we share.
2021年將不會一帆風順，但請相信：你將不會獨自前行，因為「大家庭」意味著我們將作為同事、朋友或者「兄弟姐妹」，始終守望相助、結伴同行。在這個大家庭裡，沒有人會被落下或遺忘。
The year 2021 won’t be easy, but please know that you are not alone, because 「family」 means we will always be there for each other as coworkers, as friends, and as 「brothers and sisters」. And in this family, no one gets left behind or forgotten.
