熱帶草原龍 - BEFORE WE GO雙關語、俏皮話解析

While rounding up sheep in Australia in 2005, David Elliot came across some old bones and paleontologists think they might have belonged to a newly identified species of dinosaur, named Savannasaurus elliotorum, they recovered almost one fourth of its skeleton which is a lot compared to other discoveries. From that, they were able to depict it as a herbivore that was about as tall as a giraffe and half the size of a basketball court. So, like big.

Elliot is probably glad he saur (=saw) it was a sight for sore eyes. He might have been sort of missed it. Any dinoscovery (=dinosaur+discovery) makes the imagination soar (升空,與saur同音). And if by instinct, you find it a little disconsorting to think of something saur (=so) monstrous, the fact that it`s extinct provides a little reasaurus (=reassurance,使安心).

I`m Carl Azuz and use a thesaurus (同義詞近義詞列表,這個詞的後半截與savannasaurus相同). That`s all saur (=for) us today.

今天這一段說的是澳大利亞的一位牧羊人大衛·艾利奧特2005年發現了一些骨頭,考古學家鑑定為一種新識別的恐龍物種,命名為savannasaurus,熱帶草原龍·埃利奧特種。
