又到一年盤點時，Facebook和谷歌先後發布了2016年大事回顧，兩個視頻都充滿了傷痛和感動，看完讓人淚目。
2016年，這個世界都經歷了什麼，我們一起來看看吧……

Facebook的Year in Review一年回顧視頻：
Facebook put together its year in review by ranking the most frequently mentioned topics in Facebook posts between January 1 and November 27. Unfortunately, it seems like the majority of the most talked about things this year weren’t positive — many of the topics were deaths of famous people, related to controversial events, or at least somewhat concerning.
Facebook公司把從2016年1月1日到11月27日Facebook平臺上最頻繁被提到的話題整合在一起，發布了今年的年度回顧。不幸的是，看起來大部分話題都不是很積極——很多都是關於名人去世消息的，與爭議性事件有關的，或者大家都擔憂的問題。

Facebook創始人兼CEO馬克·扎克伯格在自己的FB主頁寫下了這麼一段話：
每年，Facebook都會和大家分享一段視頻回顧這一年中的重要時刻。對世界上的許多人來說，2016年是艱難的一年。但讓我感到欣慰的是，因為我們彼此間的緊密相連，哪怕是最黑暗的時刻都稍微明亮了一些。我們即將邁入2017年，我更加相信我們這個共同體所擁有的力量——它會教導我們，安慰我們，與我們一同慶祝，打開我們的思維，幫助我們共同前行。期待更加健康和快樂的2017年！
谷歌也依據它龐大的用戶搜索數據，製作了2016年的一年回顧。
谷歌的回顧視頻在美國達人秀冠軍Grace VanderWaal的歌聲中展開，她唱的這首歌叫「Light The Sky」，安靜憂傷，但也帶著希望。
「Love is out there」 — that’s Google’s mantra in its annual Year in Search compilation, which highlights the defining moments of the past 12 months. From the mannequin challenge to Brexit, the video exudes positive vibes with quotes from Stephen Colbert and Ellen Degeneres on hope and humanity.
「愛，就在那裡」——這是谷歌今年「搜索下的一年」的視頻主題，突出展現了過去12個月中的關鍵時刻。從「假人挑戰」到英國脫歐，伴隨著Stephen Colbert 和 Ellen Degeneres 有關希望和人道的演講，這部視頻貫穿著積極的共鳴之感。

看過視頻回顧，下面梳理一下今年全球發生的大事件。
英國脫歐是2016上半年最吸引全世界眼球的一次政治事件。與此前的蘇格蘭獨立公投相仿，這次脫歐公投也在英國掀起了巨大的波瀾。但頗具戲劇性的結果是，英國民眾真的將英國「拖」出了歐盟。本希望借留歐作為今後競選資本的卡梅倫隨後辭職，英國政壇的地震持續至今仍有迴響。
2016 was the year of big politics, with many people taking to the Internet to debate and discuss the referendum on whether Britain should leave the European Union, as well as the aftermath of the vote. Britain voted to leave the EU, after which the former prime minister David Cameron resigned, and Theresa May took over on 11th May.
2016是充滿重大政治變動的一年。許多人都在網絡上爭辯、討論這場關乎英國是否應當離開歐盟的這次公投，以及投票的影響。英國最終投票決定脫離歐盟，前首相卡梅倫隨後辭職，新首相特雷紗·梅在5月11日接任。
2、US Presidential Election 美國總統大選繼英國脫歐之後，美國總統大選成為了2016下半年最具話題性的事件之一。川普與希拉蕊為全世界關注政局的人們獻上了跌宕起伏、高潮不斷的一次大選，以致於選舉結束後關於大選的爭論依然不斷。

And Mr Trump will go to the White House with a clean sweep, and huge power.

當美國人在圍觀圍繞當選總統川普組建新內閣展開的推特大劇時，幾千公裡外的韓國人卻被電視上播放的奇幻政治場面驚呆了——這件事導致他們的總統被彈劾。韓國領導人樸槿惠深陷醜聞的泥潭，事件之奇怪，聽起來像是漫畫書裡的某些情節。
今年8月，第31屆夏季奧運會在巴西裡約熱內盧舉行。在開幕式的前幾個月，巴西當地的衛生、氣候、安保、場館建設等等問題不斷被媒體披露，也引發了外界對本屆奧運會的擔憂。不過，最終裡約還是為世人獻上了一場別具一格的奧運會。此外，裁判的判罰標準也遭到了很多人都質疑和詬病。
With more than 11,000 athletes from 205 countries, including first time entrants Kosovo, South Sudan, and the Refugee Olympic Team, competing in 42 different sports, and nearly three weeks of action, there were a lot to talk about.
本屆奧運會中，包括首次參加奧運比賽的科索沃、南蘇丹和難民奧運代表團等，共計205個國家的、超過一萬一千名運動員參加了42個項目的角逐。比賽持續大概三周之久，因此也製造了很多話題。

Pikachu also made a resurgence this year, invading smartphones and making people do funny things – like block traffic. When Pokemon Go was released mid-way through the year, the augmented reality game smashed all kinds of record books and crowds gathered and swarmed to collect rare pokemons, until police were called and several Pokestops had to be removed.
皮卡丘今年也重現江湖，衝入手機中，讓人們做出奇怪的事情，比如堵塞交通。今年中旬《Pokemon Go》發行時，這款增強現實遊戲打破了一堆紀錄，人們聚集在一起抓小精靈，甚至惹來警察，還被叫停了好些「站點」。

The Syrian Civil War grew out of the unrest of the 2011 Arab Spring and escalated to armed conflict after President Bashar al-Assad's government violently repressed protests calling for his removal.

The war is being fought by several factions: the Syrian Government and its various supporters, a loose alliance of Sunni Arab rebel groups, the Syrian Democratic Forces, Salafi jihadist groups who often co-operate with the Sunni rebels, and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant(ISIL). The factions receive substantial support from foreign actors, leading many to label the conflict a proxy war waged by both regional and global powers.
內戰包括以下幾部分參戰勢力：敘利亞政府及其支持者、鬆散的阿拉伯遜尼派叛軍、敘利亞民主力量、常與遜尼派叛軍合作的伊斯蘭聖戰組織，以及伊拉克和黎凡特伊斯蘭國。這些勢力持續接受他國援助，使敘利亞內戰成為該國境內及全球勢力間的博弈。
發生於2016年6月12日深夜，美國佛羅裡達州奧蘭多市的同性戀夜店槍擊案，是美國歷史上最嚴重的槍擊事件。行兇者、阿富汗移民後裔奧馬爾·馬丁宣稱效忠極端恐怖組織IS，但事後的調查並沒能找到其與IS的直接聯繫。此事過後，「控槍」「控制移民數量」的呼聲在美國得到更多人的響應。本次事件也對美國大選造成了直接的影響。
The massacre killed 49 people and wounded 53 others. It was both the deadliest mass shooting by a single shooter and the deadliest incident of violence against LGBT people in United States history. It was also the deadliest terrorist attack in the United States since the September 11 attacks in 2001.
這次大規模的暴力事件造成49人死亡，53人受傷。美國歷史上，單一槍手所造成的最大傷亡、對LGBT群體施暴而造成的最大傷亡都記錄在本案頭上。這也是自2001年「911」恐怖襲擊以來，發生在美國本土最大規模的恐怖襲擊事件。
難民是今年的又一大熱詞。據聯合國難民署報告稱，目前世界範圍內由於戰爭而流離失所的人口達到了自第二次世界大戰以來的最高點，其中很多人被迫逃亡到其他國家，尤以歐洲為甚。如何在全球範圍內更好地保護難民成為貫穿今年的一項重要議題。
Europe refugee crisis began in 2015 when rising immigration numbers of unauthorized foreign national entrants arrived in the European Union (EU), travelling across the Mediterranean Sea or overland through Southeast Europe. In a paper presented to the EU on December 5 , UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, called for a far-reaching reform of Europe’s global engagement with refugees, including the European asylum system.
歐洲難民危機始於2015年，從地中海沿岸或東南歐高地進入歐盟國家的非法移民人數大幅增加。12月5日，聯合國難民署發表文件，呼籲歐盟在全球範圍內的歐盟保護上進行長遠改革，包括建立歐洲庇護系統。

This August, the first-ever Refugee Olympic Team competed at the 2016 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro.This historic team of refugees consists of 10 athletes from four countries. Their participation is a tribute to the courage and perseverance of all refugees.
今年八月，奧運會史上首個難民代表團出徵裡約。這隻歷史性的隊伍包括來自四個國家的10名運動員。他們的出現是對所有難民的勇氣與堅韌的讚揚。

Best known and loved for his role as Severus Snape in the "Harry Potter" films, Alan Rickman was a gifted actor of stage and screen. The iconic Brit actor died at 69 after a battle with cancer.
