The new Honor 10 will set you back just ￡399 ($540), ￡600 ($800) cheaper than the handset, but is packed with a whole host of features to rival the high-end gadget.

Fingerprint sensor works like a charm . 8 core, 64gb internal memory and 3gb ram , the thing runs like a formula 1 . They look stunning as well when you whip them out . Huawei is the only cell phone for me from now on. Feel bad for idiots spending grand a pop on Samsung's and Apples (maybe not...)

Glad to see Huawei going back to making cheaper phones than there competitors. My Ascend Mate 7 is still going strong after almost 4 years, but I'm be looking to upgrade soon, and was dismayed to see Huawei phones priced at the same level as top Samsungs and Apples. In general, I find phones overpriced, which is why I go for phones that buck the trend.

I dropped and destroyed my Samsung S8 after owning for a couple of weeks and was gutted as I never take out insurance. Anyway, bought a Honor 9 lite for ￡150 as a stop gap until the S9 comes down in price, I've decided I'm just going to keep the Honor 9. Brilliant phone, quicker than the S8, battery lasts loads longer. Only downside is the camera but it takes perfectly good photo's, just not as good as the S8.

Why are all new phones referred to as the ¿iPhone killer¿?? These useless products would love to emulate an iPhone. All Samdung, Hauwei, Google and the rest do, is simply wait for the iPhone release then try to impersonate it.

Not true, the Apple v Samsung court case at the moment proves different. They steal from each other on a huge and regular basis. The cases end up nulling each other and they end up fighting over 1 or 2 patents.

After years of buying Samsung Galaxy Note phones, I changed to a Huawei because of cost. Once I would buy a phone every 2 years but now top phone makers are chucking out phones every year and who can afford nearly a grand a year. Very pleased with my huawei and now husband is going to be buying new Honor phone instead of an iPhone.

If you have to trash another company to make your phone look good, it probably isn't a good phone. There's a reason you rarely see Apple and Android directly competing. They're too busy utilising their own unique selling points.
