上海，作為一座國際性的大都市，它帶著西方風情，又不複製西方的模式，既洋溢著濃濃現代氣息，又保留絲絲中國古典韻味。因它海納百川的包容性，多元的文化氛圍，這座魅力之城已經成為全中國最吸引外國人的城市。
據統計，每年在滬辦理出入境證件的外國人有23萬人左右，其中常駐人員有17萬，而在上海工作的外國人約在9-10萬之間。今天，我們有幸採訪到來自上海外國語大學的優秀校友，Laura García De La Rosa，為我們講述她來到中國學習與生活的故事，以一個墨西哥人的視角，談談她對於上海這座城市的印象與感受。
Shanghai, as an international metropolis, owns the Western style and does not replicate the Western model. It is full of modernity and meanwhile maintains the classical charm of China. Due to its inclusive and diverse cultural atmosphere, this charming city has become the most attractive city for foreigners in China.
According to statistics, there are about 230,000 foreigners who go through immigration procedurets every year in Shanghai, of whom 170,000 are permanent residents, and foreigners working in Shanghai are between 90-100 thousand. Today, we had the privilege to interview Laura García De La Rosa, an outstanding alumna from Shanghai International Studies University, to tell us about her story of studying and living in China, and from a Mexican perspective, she talked about her impression and feelings towards Shanghai.

Laura García De La Rosa來自墨西哥，從18歲開始就來到上海，先後在同濟大學與上海外國語大學完成她本科與碩士研究生的學業，專攻西英中口譯與筆譯工作，現在在上海已經呆了12年，成立了自己的翻譯服務公司，並結識了一位上海的帥小夥男朋友。
Laura García De La Rosa comes from Mexico. She has been in Shanghai since she was 18 years old. She has completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Tongji University and Shanghai International Studies University, with specialization in interpretation and translation in Spanish, English and Chinese languages. Right now she has been in Shanghai for 12 years, and she has established her own translation y interpretation service company and has met a handsome boyfriend from Shanghai.
在採訪過程中，談及為何會選擇上海這座城市作為學習與工作的目的地，Laura是這樣說道的：
「在還在墨西哥城上高中的時候，我參加當時的一次大學交流展覽，剛好碰上同濟大學有國際交流生的項目，而我對中文學習又抱有很大的熱情，就順理成章來到了上海。來到上海才發現上海是全世界最發達的城市，儘管當時的上海遠沒有現在便利與現代化。但作為一個從小生長在墨西哥首都墨西哥城的學生，18歲的我覺得上海一切都是好的，而相比起來，墨西哥城的生活更具有鄉土氣息。」
During the interview, when talking about why she has chosen the city of Shanghai as her destination for study and work, Laura said:
「When I was still in high school in Mexico City, I participated in a university exchange exhibition at that time and I was happened to encounter a project of international exchange students at Tongji University. As I also have great enthusiasm for Chinese learning, I came to Shanghai undoubtedly. When I arrived in Shanghai, I discovered that Shanghai was the most developed city in the world, although at that time, Shanghai was far from convenience and modernization. But as a student who grew up in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, at the age of 18, I felt that everything in Shanghai was perfect, but in comparison, life in Mexico City is more rustic and tardar."
在問及墨西哥城與上海城市規劃與生活方式上的差異時，Laura表示到，兩座城市最大的差別，在於上海比起墨西哥城，安全係數高出很多。雖然墨西哥城有全世界最多的娛樂體驗，比如博物館、酒吧與舞蹈文化等，但是由於貧富差距分化嚴重，城市犯罪率高，相對比較危險，Laura表示自己無法100%享受墨西哥城的種種娛樂活動，晚上六點過後基本不敢單獨出門。而在上海，就算是凌晨三點獨自走在大街小巷上，也不覺得有多少危險。在Laura看來，正是由於安全有保障，加之上海充滿活力而又包羅萬象的文化氛圍，自己能更好地融入與參與到魔都的各種活動中。
When asking about the difference of urban planning and lifestyle between Mexico City and Shanghai, Laura expressed that the biggest difference between the two cities is that Shanghai has a much higher safety environment than Mexico City. Although Mexico City has the most entertainment experience in the world, such as museums, bars, and dance culture, Laura said that she cannot enjoy 100% of Mexico City’s entertainment activities because of the disparity between the rich and the poor and the high crime rate in the city. After six o'clock in the evening, she basically could not dare to go out alone. In Shanghai, even if she walks alone in the streets at three o』clock in the morning, she doesn’t feel much dangerous. In Laura's view, it is because of safety environment, coupled with Shanghai's dynamic and all-encompassing cultural atmosphere, that she can better integrate and participate in various activities of Shanghai.
「初來乍到，您會否存在一些不適應的地方呢？或者當您在上海生活了那麼多年後，有什麼地方是您覺得不習慣的呢」，記者這樣問道，Laura想了一會，回答道起初來到上海，當時較難適應的要數進口商品的購買與網絡信息的獲取了。數年前的上海並沒有如今般的現代與便捷，對於進口商品的購買渠道也比較有限，特別是在優質咖啡選購方面，星巴克在當年沒有像現在一樣開遍上海的每個角落。而如今隨著經濟的發展，在上海Laura表示幾乎可以購買到所有她所需要的進口商品，種類與購買渠道也更加豐富與快捷。
"Having arrived for the first time, would you had any problems to adapt to the society in Shanghai? Or after living in Shanghai for so many years, is there anyting that still you think you can not get accustomed to?"asked the reporter , and Laura thought for a moment, replied that when she first came to Shanghai, what was difficult to adapt to might be the purchase of imported goods and the acquisition of network information. Several years ago, Shanghai was still not as modern and convenient as it is today, and there were limited purchase channels for imported goods, especially in terms of premium coffee purchases. Back then, Starbucks did not open in every corner of Shanghai as it does today. Now, with the economic development, in Shanghai Laura said that she can almost buy all the imported goods she needs, and the types and purchase channels are more abundant and convenient.
而對於網絡信息的獲取，Laura真誠地說道：「對於我個人而言，我寧願用獲取外網信息的權利來換取人身安全的保障，因為我知道相比起獲取外網信息，能居住在中國這樣安全係數比較高，犯罪率低的國家，於我來說才是最重要的。」
As for the acquisition of network information, Laura said sincerely: 「For me personally, I would rather use the right to accquire extranet information in exchange for personal safety protection, because I know that compared to accessing extranet information, I can live in China such a country with a relatively high safety environment and a low crime rate, that is the most important thing to me."
在問及Laura在上海的朋友圈與娛樂消遣偏好時，Laura表示，由於自己男朋友是上海人，所以自己在上海50%的朋友都是中國人，而另外50%則是來自世界各地不同國家的友人。她提到，在她剛到上海時候，墨西哥領事館會組織例如各種形式的活動，邀請居留在上海的墨西哥人參加，但現在自己已經跟上海的墨西哥群體較少往來，幾乎完全融入到了當地人的生活中，經營著自己的翻譯服務公司。也正是由於忙於事業，Laura很少有自己的空閒時間參加各類活動，但偶爾還是會看一場電影或享受一頓精緻的晚餐。
When asked about Laura's friends circule and recreational preferences in Shanghai, Laura responded that because her boyfriend is a Shanghai native, so 50% of her friends in Shanghai are Chinese and the other 50% are from different countries around the world.. She mentioned that when she first arrived in Shanghai, the Mexican consulate would organize events of various forms to invite Mexicans living in Shanghai, but now she has less contact with the Mexican groups in Shanghai, almost completely integrated into the local life and dedicates to he own translation service company. It is also because of busy business that Laura rarely has free time to participate in various activities, but occasionally she would watch a movie or enjoy a fine dinner.
談到晚餐，身為吃貨本身的小記者，便迫不及待地讓Laura推薦在魔都正宗的墨西哥餐廳，Laura也十分豪爽地推薦了幾家她自己很喜歡的餐廳，比如新天地的El Luchador，衡山路的Pistolera，都是她比較常去的墨西哥餐廳。 另外靜安寺附近的Maya瑪雅餐廳，也是Laura覺得上海墨西哥人比較熟知的餐廳了。小編在這裡將三家餐廳的信息替大家列了出來，有興趣的各位同學可以前往打卡了。
Speaking of dinner, as a reporter of great fans in food, I couldn’t wait to let Laura recommend us some authentic Mexican restaurants in Shanghai. Laura was also very generous to recommend several restaurants that she likes, such as El Luchador in Xintiandi, Pistolera en Hengshan Road, these are her favorite Mexican restaurants in Shanghai. And the Maya Restaurant near Jingan Temple, is in Laura's opinion, a restaurant that is more familiar to Mexicans in Shanghai. 「是否想過回到墨西哥生活，還是想以後常住在中國呢？」，當記者問到這個問題時，Laura十分肯定地回答道，自己在中國生活了那麼多年，已經沒有辦法再融入到墨西哥社會了，並且自我感覺早已是半個上海人了。Laura還談到，起初自己從墨西哥這樣遙遠的國度，隻身一人來到上海這座她先前並不熟悉的城市，是為了開啟一場人生的冒險之旅，迎接未知的挑戰；還說到自己並不想念墨西哥的飲食與生活，因為在上海這座神奇的城市，總能找到滿足不同國家人群飲食的餐廳需求，每天都能發現不一樣的精彩。
「Have you ever thought of going back to live in Mexico or continue to live in China in the future?」 When the reporter asked this question, Laura replied with certainty that after she had lived in China for so many years, there is no way for her to integrate into Mexican society again, , and she has already consideres herself as half of the Shanghai native. Laura also talked about the fact that she came from a distant country like Mexico,Shanghai alone what she was not familiar with before, in order to begin a life adventure and meet unknown challenges. She expressed that she doesn’t miss Mexican food and lifestyle, because in this magical city of Shanghai, she can always find a restaurant that meets the needs of different nationalities and discover unique experience everyday in Shanghai.
的確，上海自帶移民城市的屬性，世界各國的人來到上海，都能很快地融入融入進來。這座城市，因為它的海納百川，完善治安與基礎設與多元的文化氛圍，收到眾多國際友人的肯定與讚賞，在他們眼裡，這座城市甚至勝過紐約與巴黎。非常感謝上外優秀校友Laura García De La Rosa接受本次的採訪，讓我們從另一種視角，了解上海對於外國友人的意義與價值。
Indeed, Shanghai is a city of immigration. People who come from all over the world, can quickly integrate into the integration.
