The Hilton Beijing, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines, is holding a Philippine cuisine festival at its Makan kitchen this week, introducing a fusion of flavours from more than 7,000 tropical islands created by Filipino chefs from Conrad Manila. Some of the festival's food highlights include Lechon Kawali at Tokwang Baboy (crispy deep-fried pork and fried tofu), fried lumpia (spring rolls), Batangas Bulalo (one of the Philippines' best versions of Filipino stew made from beef shanks and marrow bones), grilled whole Tuna, embutido (cured dried sausage), Inasal chicken (grilled Filipino chicken) and more.

M WOODS 'Little Woods' children's volunteer program hopes to give kids in Beijing direct access to the art museum's world-class exhibitions and the opportunity to work with its experienced and international team of curators and art educators.
