關於「The American Court System」，地主在這裡先給大家介紹幾點：
1、The accused is deemed innocent unitl and unless proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
被告在有充足證據證明其有罪之前，都被認為無罪。就是我們開頭所說的「A person is presumed innocent until proved guilty.」
2、The burden of the proof is on the prosecutor.
舉證的任務由檢察官承擔。
3、In most cases,the verdit has to be unanimously reached and the majority of a jury is not sufficient to find a defendant guilty of a felony.
在大多數情況下，陪審團必須達成一致意見，多數陪審團成員不足以認定被告犯有重罪。
4、A trial does not aim at discovering who commited a particular crime but rather the innocence or guilt of the accused.
審判的目的不在於發現誰犯了某一特定罪行，而在於被告人是否無辜或有罪。
