【英國文化簡介】顧文悠（Cynthia）
「2015英國瘋狂科學家插班營」行前課程旨在減少中西文化差異衝擊，為參與學生出行做好提前準備。通過行前文化課，學生可以形成關於英國學習、生活的基本概念。通過行前文化課的學習，學生能夠更好的適應本次遊學。行前文化課就遊學的學習及生活的衣食住行等方面劃分為四個模塊，英國簡介，學在英國，英國生活和行在英國。「英國簡介」能夠提供關於英國的基本介紹（如地理，貨幣，氣候等）和「英國瘋狂科學家插班營」的相關簡介。「學在英國」講述了英國教育模式和英國課堂。學生通過此模塊學習能夠體會中英教學方式差異，並且能夠更快、更好適應英國式教學。第三模塊，「英國生活」介紹了英國食物和寄宿家庭生活。通過此模塊的介紹，學生能夠提前了解英國的「食」和「住」，對於他們遊學的生活方面有一定的幫助。「行在英國」介紹了本次遊學會參觀、遊覽的景點，包括大本鐘，白金漢宮等。學生可以了解出行方式和最佳拍攝點，方便其在英國留影、留念。行前文化課能夠提前讓學生了解英國的學習方式和生活模式，並為學生此次英國遊學行順利進行提供了幫助。
The Syllabus of BritishCulture for UK Study Tour
The lecture of BritishCulture is a part of the curriculum for 『2015 UK Study Tour of Mad Scientists』. It aims at preparing all the students whoparticipate the study tour for the information about the learning and living inUK. By the end of British Culturesection, participants are expected to gain a general idea about the UnitedKingdom, British education mode, life in UK and world-known tourist sites in UK.Moreover, students are more likely to get accustomed to the British life afterthe British Culture Module. The whole lecture of British Culture contains four topics,including Brief Introduction, Study in UK, Life in UK and Travel in UK.
The first part, BriefIntroduction, aims at providing some background knowledge about UK (e.g.geography, currency, and climate) as well as the study tour. The second section,Study in UK, intends to demonstrate a basic British education system and theinspiring teaching mode in UK. By the end of this section, students are expectedto raise the awareness of what the British classes are like and how English teachersmay give lectures. Thus, they are more likely to get accustomed to the Britishteaching style when they have classes in UK. The third segment of the lecturehas the goal of offering information about food and living in UK so that thecultural shocks or psychological barriers may be largely reduced. The objectiveof the last part is to provide suggestions about places of interests during thetour, including the must-see reasons and the best shooting areas. To sum up,the British Culture section can equip students with knowledge about UK and isassumed to be necessary before their trip to UK.
【行程學習/生活交際英語】 潘飛飛（Perfect）
教學目的：行前口語課的目的是通過短時間高強度的口語練習和實踐，培養和提高學生用英語進行口頭交際的能力，使學生能利用已掌握的英語，比較清楚地表達自己，為即將到來的英國遊學生活做好充分的語言準備。能就日常生活話題進行交談，做到正確表達思想，語言基本得體；能運用交際策略繞過難點達到交際的目的；能準確掌握諸如詢問、請求、建議、忠告等交際功能；能在不同的場合，對不同的人用恰當、得體的語言形式去體現不同的交際功能；逐步達到在英語口頭表達方面準確與流利的結合。同時幫助學生了解主要英語國家的文化背景和生活習俗，培養學生的跨文化交際能力。
課程內容：（1）通過大量的視聽及文字材料，示範性地展示語言功能表達方法，讓學生了解和熟悉不同的表達模式；（2）進行大量形式多樣的口語技能模仿、訓練和語言實踐活動，鞏固和擴展所學語言功能的常用句型，強化交際技能；（3）開展話題討論，加深對英、美等主要英語國家文化背景和生活習俗的了解，學會在具體語境中進行正確得體的交際；（4）利用生動有趣的學習素材，激發學生學習興趣，使學生願意開口說英語，敢於開口說英語。

【行程學習/生活禮儀】黃義表（Edward)/程玲豔(Sophie)
「行前禮儀課程」主要由三部分組成，分別為就餐禮儀，公共場所禮儀以及住家禮儀，通過對西方一系列禮儀知識的學習與課堂實例的演練，讓學員們在出國前了解，並掌握在英國生活應該掌握的必要禮儀。
就餐禮儀—這部分課程主要讓學員了解如西餐有哪些部分組成，其中涉及到西餐的食物，餐具使用以及就餐時應該注意的基本禮節。
公共場所禮儀—這部分課程主要讓學員了解並掌握在公共場合下應該注意的行為規範，並且給出相當的實例作為展示。
住家禮儀—這部分課程主要根據不同時期與英國住家的溝通需要，讓孩子們了解如何與英國人共同生活，掌握共同生活期間應該注意的要點，例如：飲食習慣，交談習慣，作息習慣等。
The course of Western etiquettes mainly includes three parts-table manners, public place rules and household etiquettes. The lesson will be taught through instructions and practices. It also aims at helping the students to know the necessary etiquettes when living in Britain.
Table manners part focus on what the western meals are like, including the food, the table wares and the appropriate manners.
Public place rules concentrates on informing the students about how they should behave in public places and students will learn through activities.
Household etiquettes will lay stress on the communicative needs when students live with the local family. They will learn how to live a life with the family, for example, their eating habits, communicative habits and living habits.
