Last Saturday, on the grand Malaysian National Day celebration held in Chengdu, HELLO Chengdu, as the exclusive media invited, had the honor to enjoy the most authentic Malaysian cuisines at the same table with Mr. Tuan Nasri.

何為地道的馬來菜？馬來西亞菜（Malaysian cuisine）一般是用咖哩、冬炎等香料調味烹製，以甜辣口味為主。
What is the authentic Malaysian cuisine? Malaysian cuisine is mostly cooked by four major condiments, including curry, soy source,lemongrass and Tom Yam, featuring the sweet and spicy flavor.
一般呢，馬來西亞人多以牛、羊、雞、鴨、魚、蝦為主料，少用或不用豬肉。普遍採用椰汁，是他們食品中的主料。
Malaysians mostly use beef, mutton, chicken, duck, fish and shrimp as the main food materials; seldom do they eat pork. Coconut juice is also another main material to cook food。

「肉骨」是採用豬排骨；而「茶」則是一道排骨藥材湯。

中文諧音「殺爹」的名菜沙爹，其實就是馬來西亞的「串串」！
While the word 「Satay」 sounds a lot like 「killing your father」 in Chinese, it is actually Malaysian version of 「chuan-chuan (pieces of meat or vegetables strung on bamboo sticks)」.
